Claims (2)
- 光信号を出力するレーザダイオードと、
周期的な透過特性及び反射特性を有し、前記光信号を透過及び反射する光フィルタと、
前記光信号の強度を直接検出する第1のフォトダイオードと、
前記光フィルタで反射した前記光信号の強度を検出する第2のフォトダイオードと、
前記第1のフォトダイオードで検出した前記光信号の強度が一定となるように、前記レーザダイオードに供給する電流を調整するAPC回路と、
前記光フィルタの温度を一定にした状態で、前記第2のフォトダイオードによって検出した前記光信号の強度が一定になるように、前記レーザダイオードの温度を調整するATC回路と、
前記第1のフォトダイオードの出力信号の位相と、前記第2のフォトダイオードの出力信号の位相とを比較する位相比較回路と、
前記位相比較回路からの出力信号を通過させるローパスフィルタと、
前記ローパスフィルタを通過した出力信号の符号の正負を判断する判断回路と、
前記判断回路から出力される判断結果に応じて前記ATC回路における前記レーザダイオードの目標温度を予め制御する制御部と、を備え、
前記制御部は、前記判断回路からの出力信号の符号が負の場合には前記光信号の強度が一定になるように前記目標温度を制御し、前記判断回路の出力信号の符号が正の場合には符号を負に反転させるため前記目標温度が低下するように制御する光送信機。 - 前記制御部は、前記第1のフォトダイオードの出力信号の位相と、前記第2のフォトダイオードの出力信号の位相とが180°異なるように、前記ATC回路における前記レーザダイオードの前記目標温度を制御する請求項1記載の光送信機。
