Description
“ポリマー”は一種以上のモノマーの重合生成物を意味し、ホモ−、コ−、ター−、テトラ−ポリマーなどが含まれる。
“ポリエン”は複数の炭素−炭素二重結合を有する化合物を意味し、ジエン、トリエンなどが含まれる。
“マー”又は“マーユニット”は、単一の反応体分子に由来するポリマーの一部分を意味する(例えばエチレンマーユニットは一般式−CH2−CH2−を有する)。
“ホモポリマー”は基本的に単一タイプの繰り返しマーユニットからなるポリマーを意味する。
“コポリマー”は、二種の反応物質(一般的に複数のモノマー)に由来するマーユニットを含むポリマーを意味し、ランダム、ブロック、セグメント化、グラフト等のコポリマーが含まれる。
“インターポリマー”は、少なくとも二種の反応物質(一般的には複数のモノマー)に由来するマーユニットを含むポリマーを意味し、コポリマー、ターポリマー、テトラポリマー等が含まれる。
“高分子”は、オリゴマー又はポリマーを意味する。
“終端”は、高分子の構成鎖の末端を意味する;
“終端部分”は、終端に位置する分子の一部を意味する;
“ラジカル”又は“残基”は、他分子との反応後のままである分子の一部を意味する。
“化学的に結合された”とは、共有結合性又はイオン性の結合を介した結合を意味する。
“二級アミノラジカルイオン”とは、一般式R1R2N−(式中、R1及びR2は、それぞれ独立してアルキル基、アリール基、アルケニル基などの炭化水素を含む鎖であり、但し、R1及びR2の一方又は両方は重合体であってもよい)を有する陰イオンを意味する。
“ヘテロ原子”は、炭素原子又は水素原子以外の原子を意味する。及び、
“ヒステリシス”は、エラストマー化合物から製造された物品の変形に適用したエネルギーと、物品が当初の非変形状態に戻る際に放出されるエネルギーとの間の差を意味する。
メチルトリメトキシシラン、テトラエチルオルトシリケート、3−アミノプロピルトリエトキシシラン、N−(3−トリエトキシ−シリルプロピル)−4,5−ジヒドロイミダゾール(TEOSI)、3−イソシアナートプロピルトリエトキシシラン、n−メチルアミノプロピルメチルジメトキシシラン、n−メチルアミノプロピルトリメトキシシラン、3−アミノプロピルトリメトキシシラン及びC15H33NSiOs(シグマ−アルドリッチ社、セントルイス、ミズーリからS340として入手できる)等のアルコキシシラン;
SiCl4、SnCl4、アセチルクロライド、p−トルオイルクロライド、CHsS(O)2Cl、p−トルオイルスルフォニルクロライド、3−クロロプロピルアミン、3−(2−ブロモエチル)インドール、n−メチル−3−ブロモプロピルアミン、1−(3−ブロモプロピル)−2,2,5,5−テトラメチル−1−アザ−2,5−ジシラシクロペンタン、(CH3)2SiCl2及び(CH3)3SiCl等の含ハロゲン化合物、
無水酢酸、4−メチル無水安息香酸、メチル無水コハク酸、4−メチルフェニル−無水コハク酸、及び2−ドデセン−1−イル無水コハク酸等の無水物、
ホルムアミド、DMF、2−シアノピリミジン、1,3−プロパンジアミン、及び1,4−ジアミノシクロヘキサン等の含窒素化合物、
並びにスルトン(例えば1,4−ブタンスルトン)等の含O−及び含S−化合物が挙げられる。
・アクロス(ACROS)社(ジール(Geel)、ベルギー)製:メチルトリメトキシシラン、テトラエチルオルトシリケート、3−アミノプロピルトリエトキシシラン、ヘキサメチルシクロトリシロキサン、及びオクタメチルシクロテトラシロキサン(使用前にCaH2上で前もって乾燥させた環状シロキサンを具える)、
・シグマ-アルドリッチ社製:SiCl4及びSNCl4、
・ゲレスト(Gelest)社(モリスビル、ペンシルバンニア)製、TEOSI、3-イソシアナートプロピルトリエトキシシラン、N−メチルアミノプロピルメチルジメトキシシラン及びN−メチルアミノプロピルトリメトキシシラン。
例1−3のために、標準的なオルガノリチウム開始剤を用いてポリマーバッチを調製した。3つのサンプルを取り出し、別々の化合物と反応させた。
例4−5のために、官能化開始剤を用いてポリマーバッチを調製した。このバッチから取り出した2つのサンプルを別々に終結させた。
基本的に例1−5に記載したのと同じ方法を用いて、撹拌機を具えるN2でパージした反応器にヘキサン、スチレン、及びブタジエンを投入し、その後続けて少量のn−ブチルリチウム及びOOPsを投入した。反応ジャケットを50℃に加熱し、20〜30分後、バッチ温度はジャケットの温度を10〜15℃超えた温度でピークを打った。更に10分後、ポリマーセメントのサンプルを反応器から取り出し、別の乾燥させたガラス容器内に保存した。

実質的部分においては、例6−24に関して記載した方法を繰り返した。サンプル26−29はBuLiで開始させたSBRを(例6−24中のヘキサメチルトリシロキサンの代わりに)オクタメチルシクロテトラシロキサンと反応させることを含んでいたが、サンプル25はイソプロパノールで失活させた。
実質的部分において、例6−24に関して記載した方法を繰り返した。サンプル32−36はBuLiで開始したSBRにシクロへキセンオキシドを反応させることを含むが、サンプル31はイソプロパノールで失活させた。

35)2−ドデセン−1−イル 無水コハク酸、及び
36)1,4−ブタンスルトン
と反応させた(反応後、サンプル33−36はイソプロパノールで失活させた)が、サンプル32はイソプロパノールで失活させた。
実質的部分において、例6−24に関して記載した方法を繰り返した。サンプル38−42はBuLiで開始させたSBRにシクロへキセンスルフィドを反応させることを含むが、サンプル37はイソプロパノールで失活させた。
39)3−アミノプロピルトリメトキシシラン
40)2−ドデセン−1−イル 無水コハク酸
41)1−(3−ブロモプロピル)−2,2,5,5−テトラメチル−1−アザ−2,5−ジシラシクロペンタン、及び
42)1,4−ブタンスルトン
と反応させた(反応後、サンプル39−42はイソプロパノールで失活させた)が、サンプル38はイソプロパノールで失活させた。
実質的部分において、例6−24に関して記載した方法を繰り返した。サンプル44−48はBuLiで開始させたSBRにブチレンオキシドを反応させることを含むが、サンプル43はイソプロパノールで失活させた。
45)3−アミノプロピルトリメトキシシラン、
46)[3−(メチルアミノ)プロピル]トリメトキシシラン、
47)2−ドデセン−1−イル 無水コハク酸、及び
48)1−(3−ブロモプロピル)−2,2,5,5−テトラメチル−1−アザ−2,5−ジシラシクロペンタン
と反応させたが、サンプル44はイソプロパノールで失活させた。
Claims (11)
- a)溶媒を含む反応媒体中で、ポリエンのマーを含むリビングポリマーと環構造中に3又は4のシロキサンユニットを含む環状化合物とを反応させて、仲介物で官能化されたリビングポリマーを形成する工程であって、前記仲介物で官能化されたリビングポリマーは、前記環状化合物のラジカルを終端に有し、
前記仲介物で官能化されたリビングポリマー1モルあたりに含まれる、前記環状化合物由来の質量は400g以下であることを特徴とする、工程と、
b)前記反応媒体に、アミノ窒素原子に活性水素原子が結合しているアミンを導入して、該アミンを前記仲介物で官能化されたリビングポリマーに化学的に結合させる工程とを含み、
それによりアミンで官能化されたポリマーを形成する、アミン官能化ポリマーの製造方法。 - 前記ポリマーは、ビニル芳香族のマーをさらに含むことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記ビニル芳香族のマーは、前記ポリマーの1〜50重量%を構成することを特徴とする、請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記ビニル芳香族のマーは、前記ポリマー中でランダムに分布していることを特徴とする、請求項3に記載の方法。
- 前記環状化合物のケイ素原子の少なくとも一つが、C1−C6置換基を少なくとも一つ有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記ポリマーは、1,2−ミクロ構造が全体で25〜65%であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記反応媒体は、モノ−及びオリゴ−アルキレングリコールのジアルキルエーテル、クラウンエーテル、テトラメチルエチレンジアミン、THF、THFオリゴマー、2,2’−ジ(テトラヒドロフリル)プロパン、ジ−ピペリジルエタン、ヘキサメチルリン酸アミド、N,N’−ジメチルピペラジン、ジアザビシクロオクタン、ジエチルエーテル、及びトリブチルアミンからなるグループから選択される極性の調整化合物をさらに含むことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記反応媒体から前記アミン官能化ポリマーを回収し、該アミン官能化ポリマーを一種以上の充填剤粒子と混合してゴム配合物を生成することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記ゴム配合物は、少なくとも1種の非官能化合成ゴムをさらに含む、請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記ゴム配合物は、加硫剤をさらに含む請求項9に記載の方法。
- 前記ゴム配合物を加硫する工程をさらに含む、請求項10に記載の方法。
