ここで、2組とは、図8のものを基準として、横軸に沿って配置される複数の位置感知用メインセンサ電極501と、縦軸に沿って配置される複数の位置感知用メインセンサ電極502とが、外部の信号によって座標を認識するということで、2つの電極群(group of electrodes)で構成されているという意味である。例えば、X−Y絶対座標系の場合は、X軸の位置を感知するY軸位置感知用メインセンサ電極に該当する位置感知用メインセンサ電極501と、Y軸の位置を感知するX軸位置感知用メインセンサ電極に該当する位置感知用メインセンサ電極502である。
Claims (9)
- 基板と、
前記基板の中央部に形成されて映像が表示される表示領域と、
前記表示領域の外周部に形成されて前記基板の端部まで伸び、複数の信号伝達用配線電極が位置する非活性領域と、
前記表示領域に位置して、座標を表示するために2次元的に配列される2組からなる複数の位置感知用メインセンサ電極と、
前記2組からなる複数の位置感知用メインセンサ電極が各方向に互いに電気的に接続されるように、その間に位置する複数のブリッジ電極と、
前記複数の信号伝達用配線電極の一端は、それぞれ前記2組からなる複数の位置感知用メインセンサ電極と接続され、その他端が電気的に接続された外部端子部と、
前記2組からなる複数の位置感知用メインセンサ電極のそれぞれには電気的に接続されるが、前記複数のブリッジ電極が接続された方向とは異なる方向に形成された位置感知用サブ電極と、を含むことを特徴とする高感度デジタル方式の静電容量型タッチパネル装置。 - 前記2組からなる複数の位置感知用メインセンサ電極は、それぞれX軸方向及びY軸方向に伸びて備えられることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の高感度デジタル方式の静電容量型タッチパネル装置。
- 前記位置感知用メインセンサ電極に接続される位置感知用サブセンサ電極は少なくとも一つ以上であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の高感度デジタル方式の静電容量型タッチパネル装置。
- 前記位置感知用サブセンサ電極は、前記複数のブリッジ電極が形成された方向と直角となることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の高感度デジタル方式の静電容量型タッチパネル装置。
- 前記位置感知用サブセンサ電極の形状は、前記位置感知用メインセンサ電極と同一であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の高感度デジタル方式の静電容量型タッチパネル装置。
- 前記位置感知用サブセンサ電極の形状は、三角形、四角形、五角形、六角形、七角形、八角形、九角形、十角形及び円形の形状からなる群より選ばれる少なくとも一つであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の高感度デジタル方式の静電容量型タッチパネル装置。
- 前記位置感知用サブセンサ電極は、第1補助電極および第2補助電極を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の高感度デジタル方式の静電容量型タッチパネル装置。
- 前記第1補助電極及び第2補助電極の面積の和は、前記位置感知用サブセンサ電極と同一であることを特徴とする請求項7に記載の高感度デジタル方式の静電容量型タッチパネル装置。
- 前記第1補助電極及び第2補助電極の面積の比(ratio)が
であることを特徴とする請求項7に記載の高感度デジタル方式の静電容量型タッチパネル装置。
