Claims (13)
- 低温空気分離装置(ASU)での空気分離の酸素製品であり、キセノンを含む酸素製品から、キセノンを回収するための方法であり、
前記酸素製品を、吸着系である希ガス回収系へ供給すること、及び
この希ガス回収系において当該酸素製品を分離してキセノンの減少した気体酸素(GOX)とキセノンを富化した製品とにし、当該分離は当該吸着系において当該酸素製品をキセノン選択性吸着剤物質と接触させて行われること、
を含む方法であって、希ガス回収系へ供給する前に当該酸素製品の圧力を上昇させ、そして当該酸素製品の少なくとも約50モル%を当該希ガス回収系へ気相でもって供給し、当該酸素製品中のキセノンの濃度は空気中におけるキセノンの濃度の50倍以下であり、そして当該酸素製品は前記低温空気分離装置からのパージ流でないことを特徴とするキセノン回収方法。 - 前記酸素製品の少なくとも90モル%が気体である、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記酸素製品の全部が気体である、請求項1又は2記載の方法。
- 前記酸素製品が更にクリプトンを含み、そして前記キセノンを富化した製品がクリプトンを富化されている、請求項1〜3のいずれか1つに記載の方法。
- 前記酸素製品が前記低温空気分離装置(ASU)の主熱交換器の高温端側からの気体酸素(GOX)である、請求項1〜4のいずれか1つに記載の方法。
- 前記低温空気分離装置(ASU)において原料空気を分離して窒素に富む塔頂蒸気と液体酸素(LOX)とにすること、
この液体酸素のうちの少なくとも一部分を昇圧して昇圧液体酸素を提供すること、及び
この昇圧液体酸素のうちの少なくとも一部分を少なくとも部分的に気化させて前記酸素製品を提供すること、
を更に含む、請求項1〜4のいずれか1つに記載の方法。 - 前記低温空気分離装置(ASU)がポンプを使用する液体酸素サイクルを運転している、請求項6記載の方法。
- 前記酸素製品の圧力が前記空気分離装置(ASU)のうちの前記液体酸素を製造する部分の運転圧力よりも高い、請求項6又は7記載の方法。
- 前記昇圧液体酸素のうちの前記少なくとも一部分の全部を気化させて前記酸素製品を提供する、請求項6〜8のいずれか1つに記載の方法。
- 当該吸着の方法が圧力スイング吸着(PSA)法又は温度スイング吸着(TSA)法からなる群より選ばれる、請求項1〜9のいずれか1つに記載の方法。
- 前記酸素製品中のキセノンの濃度が空気中のキセノンの濃度の20倍以下である、請求項1〜10のいずれか1つに記載の方法。
- 前記酸素製品中のキセノンの濃度が空気中のキセノンの濃度の約5倍である、請求項1〜11のいずれか1つに記載の方法。
- 請求項1記載の方法により、キセノンを含む昇圧した酸素製品からキセノンを回収するための装置であって、
原料空気を分離して窒素に富む塔頂蒸気と液体酸素とにするための低温空気分離装置、
当該液体酸素のうちの少なくとも一部分を昇圧して昇圧液体酸素を提供するための昇圧手段、
当該昇圧液体酸素のうちの少なくとも約50モル%を気化させて前記酸素製品を提供するための気化手段、及び
前記酸素製品を分離してキセノンの減少した気体酸素とキセノンを富化した製品とにするための希ガス回収系、
を含み、当該希ガス回収系はキセノン選択性吸着剤物質を含む吸着系であり、そして当該酸素製品は前記低温空気分離装置からのパージ流でない、希ガス回収装置。
