Description
本発明は、赤外線吸収剤および中間層でのこの使用ならびにこの中間層を含む複数層板ガラスパネルを含む。

(ここで、hは1から10であり、種々の実施形態においては3未満であり、gは1から5であり、種々の実施形態においては3未満である)として作用させるために複数層板ガラスパネルの1つの側面に付加することができるがこれらに限定されない。
六ホウ化ランタンの調製およびポリマー基体中またはその上へのその導入は当該技術分野において良く知られている(例えば、米国特許第6620872号および第6911254号を参照されたい)。六ホウ化ランタンは、例えば、必要に応じてジルコニウムおよび分散剤を含んだ、液体における固体粒子の分散体として入手できる。
任意の適当なエポキシ剤は、当該技術分野において公知のものとして本発明で使用することができる(例えば、米国特許第5529848号および第5529849号を参照されたい)。
本明細書で使用される「ポリマーフィルム」とは、性能強化層として機能する相対的に薄い硬質ポリマー層を意味する。ポリマーフィルムは、ポリマーフィルムがそれ自体、複数層板ガラス構造に対して必要な浸透抵抗性およびガラス保持性を与えず、むしろ、性能改善、例えば、赤外線吸収特性等を与える点で本明細書で使用されるポリマーシートとは異なる。ポリ(エチレンテレフタレート)は、ポリマーフィルムとして最も一般的に使用される。
以下の部分は、本発明のポリマーシートを形成するために使用することのできる種々の材料、例えばポリ(ビニルブチラール)等を説明する。
以下の表において示される組成(全ての数字は重量%として示される)を有する6枚のポリマーシートを形成する。KHV−11分散体を基にした六ホウ化ランタンは、可視光線の散乱を引き起す相対的に大きな粒子(約200ナノメートル)を低い濃度で含有する。可視光線散乱を減少させるために、減少された粒径の六ホウ化ランタン粒子分散体KHDV−05Aを使用する。しかしながら、これらの小さな粒子は、KHV−11における大きな粒子よりも更に加水分解を受け易い。添加剤を、ポリ(ビニルブチラール)と予備混合し、単軸スクリュー押出機においてシート押出し中にブレンドする。0.76mm厚のシートをシートダイを使用して押し出す。
Claims (18)
- 六ホウ化ランタン、および
脂肪族モノエポキシドおよび脂肪族ジエポキシドからなる群から選択されるエポキシ剤
を含む複数層板ガラス中間層。 - 前記エポキシ剤が、ポリ(オキシプロピレン)グリコールのジエポキシド、2−エチルヘキシルグリシジルエーテル、およびエピクロロヒドリンとポリプロピレングリコールのジエポキシド生成物からなる群から選択される、請求項1の中間層。
- 前記エポキシ剤が、0.1から10.0重量%の量で存在する、請求項1の中間層。
- 前記エポキシ剤が、0.5から4.0重量%の量で存在する、請求項1の中間層。
- 前記六ホウ化ランタンが、0.005から0.1重量%の量で存在する、請求項1の中間層。
- 前記六ホウ化ランタンが、0.005から0.05重量%の量で存在する、請求項1の中間層。
- 前記エポキシ剤が、0.1から10.0重量%の量で存在し、および前記六ホウ化ランタンが、0.005から0.1重量%の量で存在する、請求項1の中間層。
- 前記エポキシ剤が、0.5から4.0重量%の量で存在し、および前記六ホウ化ランタンが、0.005から0.05重量%の量で存在する、請求項1の中間層。
- 前記中間層がポリ(ビニルブチラール)を含む、請求項1の中間層。
- 前記エポキシ剤が、ポリ(オキシプロピレン)グリコールのジエポキシド、2−エチルヘキシルグリシジルエーテル、およびエピクロロヒドリンとポリプロピレングリコールのジエポキシド生成物からなる群から選択される、請求項9の中間層。
- 前記エポキシ剤が、0.1から10.0重量%の量で存在する、請求項9の中間層。
