Description
塊状重合プロセスによって製造された2つの固体の酢酸ビニル樹脂、分子量(Mw)が約10,000であるVinnapas(R)B 1.5spと分子量(Mw)が約20,000であるVinnapas(R)B 5spをテストした。どちらの固体樹脂も、ペレット化する間に、固体樹脂に対して、タルク0.1重量%を計量して加えた。比較するため、タルクを加えずに2つの固体樹脂をペレット化した。
各固体樹脂100gを10cm×10cmのポリエチレン袋に入れて、バッグを溶着した。その後、袋を30℃で5時間保ち、それぞれ5kgで荷重した。
ブロッキング傾向を質的に評価し、次の評価体系により評価した。
1=ブロッキング無し〜6=ブロッキングが顕著である。
結果を表1に示す。
カオリン0.1重量%をペレット化する間に計量して加えた以外は、実施例1の手順で行った。比較するため、フリーフロー剤を加えずに2つの固体樹脂をペレット化した。
結果を表2に示す。
懸濁重合プロセスにより製造された2つの固体の酢酸ビニル樹脂、分子量(Mw)が約10,000であるVinnapas(R)UW 1と分子量(Mw)が約350,000であるVinnapas(R)UW 10をテストした。どちらの固体樹脂も、遠心分した後で且つ流動層乾燥する前に、固体樹脂に対して、ヒュームドシリカ(Wacker HDK(R) V15)0.2重量%を計量して加えた。比較するため、ヒュームドシリカを加えずに2つの固体樹脂を乾燥した。
各固体樹脂100gを10cm×10cmのポリエチレン袋に入れて、バッグを溶着した。その後、袋を50℃で5時間保ち、それぞれ5kgで荷重した。
ブロッキング傾向を質的に評価し、次の評価体系により評価した。
1=ブロッキング無し〜6=ブロッキングが顕著である。
結果を表3に示す。
疎水性ケイ酸(Aerosil(R) R812)0.1重量%をペレット化する間に計量して加えた以外は、実施例1の手順で行った。比較するため、フリーフロー剤を加えずに2つの固体樹脂をペレット化した。
結果を表4に示す。
Claims (6)
- a)塊状重合により得られる固体の酢酸ビニル樹脂の場合は、タルクがフリーフロー剤として使用され、前記フリーフロー剤は前記固体の酢酸ビニル樹脂をペレット化する間に加えられる、及び
b)懸濁重合により得られる固体の酢酸ビニル樹脂の場合は、ヒュームドシリカがフリーフロー剤として使用され、前記フリーフロー剤は流動層乾燥前に加えられる
ことを特徴とする固体の酢酸ビニル樹脂の製造において、フリーフロー剤として酸化ケイ素化合物の使用。 - 酸化ケイ素化合物は、固体の酢酸ビニル樹脂に対して0.01重量%〜5.0重量%で使用される請求項1に記載の使用。
- 酸化ケイ素化合物は、固体の酢酸ビニル樹脂に対して0.01重量%〜0.5重量%で使用される請求項1に記載の使用。
- チューインガム材料の製造に対する請求項1から3のいずれかで得られる固体の酢酸ビニル樹脂の使用。
- 成形品の製造に対する請求項1から3のいずれかで得られる固体の酢酸ビニル樹脂の使用。
- 接着剤の製造に対する請求項1から3のいずれかで得られる固体の酢酸ビニル樹脂の使用。
