Claims (9)
- 液体の中にあるスパー状フロートの水面下にある端部に取り付けられて垂直方向に運動させられる第1のプレートを有するダンピングプレートであって、前記スパー状フロートの揺動方向を横切るように延在する1対の対向する表面を有しており、さらに、垂直に延在する構造体が、前記プレートが前記液体中を運動する際に押しのけられる液体の体積を増加させるために前記表面上に取り付けられ、さらに、前記垂直に延在する構造体が、前記ダンピングプレートによって生み出される抵抗量を最小にするために流線形状である、ダンピングプレート。
- 前記構造体が滑らかで湾曲した表面を有する、請求項1に記載のダンピングプレート。
- 前記構造体が楕円形の断面を有する、請求項1に記載のダンピングプレート。
- 前記構造体が、前記第1のプレートの端部のところに配置されておりさらに前記第1のプレートの上方および下方で湾曲した壁を有するリムで終端している第2のプレートを備える、請求項1に記載のダンピングプレート。
- 前記構造体が、前記第1のプレートの1つまたは複数の縁部のところに配置される1つまたは複数の半円形部材を有する、請求項1に記載のダンピングプレート。
- 前記液体が水であり、前記運動が、通過する波に反応する揺動である、請求項1に記載のダンピングプレート。
- 液体の中にあるスパー状フロートの水面下にある端部に取り付けられて垂直方向に運動させられる第1のプレートを有するダンピングプレートを含む装置であって、前記プレートが、前記スパー状フロートの揺動方向を横切るように延在する1対の対向する表面を有しており、さらに、垂直に延在する構造体が、前記プレートが前記液体中を運動する際に押しのけられる液体の体積を増加させるために前記表面上に取り付けられ、さらに、前記垂直に延在する構造体が、前記ダンピングプレートによって生み出される抵抗量を最小にするために流線形状である、装置。
- 水の素面に沿って位置することを意図しておりさらに前記水の中に存在する波と同相で運動するように設計されたフロートをさらに有する装置であって、前記スパー状フロートが、前記フロートおよび前記水の素面に対して概略垂直になるように垂直方向に延在することを意図しており、前記スパー状フロートが、前記水の素面の下方で延在しておりさらに前記波と位相がずれて垂直方向を上下に運動することを意図しており、前記装置が、前記スパー状フロートと前記フロートとの間に連結されておりこれらの相対運動を有用なエネルギーに変換するためにこれらの相対運動に反応する動力取出装置(power take off device(PTO))をさらに有する、請求項7に記載の装置。
- 水の中に存在する波と同相で運動するために前記水の素面上に浮遊するフロートと、
前記波と位相がずれて運動するために前記水の中で垂直方向に浮遊する細長いスパーと、
スパーとフロートとの間の相対運動を有用なエネルギーに変換するために前記スパーと前記フロートとの間に連結される動力取出装置(power take off device(PTO))と、
前記スパーの水面下にある部分に連結されるヒーブプレートであって、前記スパーに対して垂直な平面内に延在し、さらに、前記スパーが運動する垂直方向を横切るように延在する1対の対向する表面を有する、ヒーブプレートと、
前記ヒーブプレートが水の中を運動する際に押される水の有効質量を増加させるために前記対向する表面上に取り付けられる垂直構造体であって、前記ヒーブプレートの粘性抵抗を低下させるために湾曲表面を有する、垂直構造体と
を有する波エネルギー変換器(wave energy converter(WEC))。
