Claims (5)
- 液体を貯留する槽の液位を監視するための液位監視装置であり、
槽内の所定の高さに設置された液位監視用の蛍光板と、
前記液位監視用の蛍光板と同じ蛍光板からなり、液に没しない高さで平面視において液位監視用の蛍光板に近接した位置に設置された比較用の蛍光板と、
を備え、
前記液位監視用の蛍光板及び比較用の蛍光板の2つに同時に光を照射したとき、前記液位監視用の蛍光板が液中に没していないときは所定の距離離れた位置から液位監視用の蛍光板及び比較用の蛍光板の2つを同時に視認可能で、前記液位監視用の蛍光板が液中に没しているときは所定の距離離れた位置から比較用の蛍光板のみ視認可能なものであって、少なくとも槽内に貯留されている液体が、光を照射したときに、液中に没している前記蛍光板を視認できない程度に光の透過度が小さい液体であることを特徴とする液位監視装置。 - 前記液位監視用の蛍光板及び比較用の蛍光板に光を照射する手段が、懐中電灯であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液位監視装置。
- さらに鏡を備え、
該鏡を介して前記蛍光板に向け光を照射し、該鏡を介して前記液位監視用の蛍光板及び/又は比較用の蛍光板を視認可能なことを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の液位監視装置。 - 前記槽内に貯留されている液体が、透明度の低い液体、油、固形分又はフロックが表面に浮遊した液体、表面が波立っている液体、又は表面が泡立っている液体であることを特徴とする請求項1から3のいずれか1に記載の液位監視装置。
- 前記槽は、地下、高い位置、酸素欠乏又は有害ガスの発生する恐れのある場所を含む人が近づき難い場所に設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1から4のいずれか1に記載の液位監視装置。
