Claims (2)

第1の直径を有する第1のパターン化ロールと、
第2の直径を有し、前記第1のパターン化ロールよりもウェブ搬送方向について下流側に配置された第2のパターン化ロールと、
前記第1および前記第2のパターン化ロールが100マイクロメートル以内に連続位置合わせされた状態に維持されるように、前記第1のパターン化ロールおよび前記第2のパターン化ロールを互いに反対方向に回転すべく構成された駆動アセンブリとを備え、
前記第2の直径が前記第1の直径より0.01〜1パーセント大きい、ロールツーロール微細複製装置。 - 互いに反対側の第1および第2の表面を有するウェブを含む微細複製物品を作製する方法であって、
第1のパターン化ロールおよび該第1のパターン化ロールよりもウェブ搬送方向について下流側に配置された第2のパターン化ロールを、同じ回転速度でありかつ、前記第2のパターン化ロールの表面速度が前記第1のパターン化ロールの表面速度より大きくなるように、互いに反対方向に回転させるステップと、
前記第1のパターン化ロールと前記第2のパターン化ロールとの間に前記ウェブを通すステップと、
前記ウェブの第1の表面に第1の液体を配置するステップと、
前記第1の液体を前記第1のパターン化ロールに接触させるステップと、
前記ウェブの第2の表面に第2の液体を配置するステップと、
前記第2の液体を前記第2のパターン化ロールに接触させるステップとを含み、
前記第1および第2のパターン化ロールが、100マイクロメートル未満に一定に位置合わせされた状態に維持される、方法。
