Description
図2を参照すれば、カラー再現システム100は、イメージスケーリング手段110、カラー空間変換手段130、イメージサイズ効果補正手段150及び逆カラー空間変換手段170を備える。また、図3では、イメージサイズ効果補正手段150の構造について図示しているが、図3を参照すれば、前記イメージサイズ効果補正手段150は、イメージコンテンツ分析ユニット152、スケーリングパラメータのKJ、KCを予測するパラメータ予測ユニット154、最終輝度と彩度値に該当するJD、CDを決定する輝度−彩度決定ユニット156を備える。
H1(色相範囲1):0−100
H2(色相範囲2):100−200
H3(色相範囲3):200−300
H4(色相範囲4):300−400
ここで、それぞれの色相範囲に対応する数字(0−400)は、任意の画素値に対してマッピングされる数字であって、このようなマッピングは、CIECAM02モデルで提示されており、さらに具体的な内容については、“http://www.colour.org/tc8−01/”を参照すれば良い。
H1(0−100):p1=49.5%
H2(100−200):p2=18.0%
H3(200−300):p3=20.2%
H4(300−400):p4=12.3%
結局、S442段階が行われた後、イメージの各画素は、(Jo、Co、Ho、pn)のような4個の属性を有する。ここで、pnは、色相値Hoが属する色相範囲に対する百分率値を示し、インデックスnの値は、CIECAM02モデルでの1,2,3,4を示す。

ここで、‘size’は、ディスプレイ画面の幅、長さあるいは半径を示しうる。
逆カラー空間変換手段170は、人間の知覚属性をRGBデジタル信号に変換する(S450)。

Claims (20)
- 入力されたイメージを構成する画素の色相分布を分析するイメージコンテンツ分析ユニットと、
前記画素に関する属性情報と前記色相分布及びイメージサイズ情報に基づいてスケーリングパラメータを予測するパラメータ予測ユニットと、
前記予測されたパラメータを用いて前記画素の最終輝度と彩度を決定する輝度−彩度決定ユニットを備えるカラー再現システム。 - 前記属性情報は、前記画素の輝度、彩度及び色相情報を含む請求項1に記載のカラー再現システム。
- 前記属性情報は、前記イメージをディスプレイする機器に独立的なカラー情報を含む請求項1に記載のカラー再現システム。
- 前記入力されたイメージは、前記入力されたイメージがディスプレイされるディスプレイ画面に適するようにスケールされたイメージである請求項1に記載のカラー再現システム。
- 前記イメージコンテンツ分析ユニットは、CIECAM02モデルを適用して前記色相分布を分析する請求項1に記載のカラー再現システム。
- 前記イメージサイズ情報は、サブテンディング視野角度情報を含む請求項1に記載のカラー再現システム。
- 前記輝度−彩度決定ユニットは、線形関数を用いて最終輝度を決定する請求項1に記載のカラー再現システム。
- 前記輝度−彩度決定ユニットは、線形関数を用いて最終彩度を決定する請求項1に記載のカラー再現システム。
- 入力されたイメージを構成する画素の色相分布を分析する(a)段階と、
前記画素に関する属性情報と前記色相分布及びイメージサイズ情報に基づいてスケーリングパラメータを予測する(b)段階と、
前記予測されたパラメータを用いて前記画素の最終輝度と彩度とを決定する(c)段階と、を含むカラー再現方法。 - 前記属性情報は、前記画素の輝度、彩度及び色相情報を含む請求項11に記載のカラー再現方法。
- 前記属性情報は、前記イメージをディスプレイする機器に独立的なカラー情報を含む請求項11に記載のカラー再現方法。
- 前記入力されたイメージは、前記入力されたイメージがディスプレイされるディスプレイ画面に適するようにスケールされたイメージである請求項11に記載のカラー再現方法。
- 前記(a)段階は、CIECAM02モデルを適用して前記色相分布を分析する段階を含む請求項11に記載のカラー再現方法。
- 前記イメージサイズ情報は、サブテンディング視野角度情報を含む請求項11に記載のカラー再現方法。
- 前記(c)段階は、線形関数を用いて最終輝度を決定する段階を含む請求項11に記載のカラー再現方法。
