空気抵抗:SCAN−M8、P19
広葉樹パルプと針葉樹パルプの間の割合が70/30(表1)で、叩解度が22.2SR(広葉樹)及び25.3SR(針葉樹)である原材料組成物を用いて、分散した充填剤が光散乱係数を改善するのに作用する様式を求めた。
光散乱係数(表3)を測定する際に、適切な分散剤の投与量を使用した。PAC及びPCC用陰イオン性ポリアクリルアミドを保持剤として使用した。使用した保持剤の量は、ずっと最低に維持した。
Claims (13)
- 充填剤を繊維スラッシ中に混入し、
充填剤含有繊維スラッシで繊維ウェブを形成し、該ウェブを妙紙機又は厚紙妙紙機で乾燥し、
充填剤として光散乱材料粒子を沈殿したセルロース又はリグノセルロースフィブリルを含む複合材料を使用することよりなる充填剤を含む繊維ウェブの製造方法であって、
繊維ウェブの光散乱特性を改善するために、前記充填剤を繊維スラッシに混入する前に分散剤と接触させ、前記分散剤が陰イオン性ポリアクリル酸塩又はポリリン酸塩であり、前記分散剤添加の上限が、該分散剤及び充填剤中の鉱物粒子によって形成される水懸濁液の最低粘度に相当する分散剤の割合であり、前記分散剤の量が前記繊維ウェブの乾燥重量の0.05−1.0重量%であることを特徴とする繊維ウェブの製造方法。 - 使用する分散剤が、前記繊維ウェブの乾燥物の0.05−0.3重量%の割合を有する陰イオン性ポリアクリル酸塩である請求項1に記載の方法。
- 繊維ウェブの充填剤の割合が、最大で該ウェブの乾燥重量の15重量%である繊維ウェブを製造する前記請求項の何れかに記載の方法。
- 前記充填剤が、野菜の繊維を叩解及び選別することにより製造したセルロース又はリグノセルロースフィブリルを含み、その太さが5μm未満である請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記光散乱材料粒子を、50メッシュの篩を通過する画分に相当する大きさ及び/又は0.1−10μmの平均太さと10−1500μmの平均長さを有するフィブリル上に沈殿させる請求項4に記載の方法。
- 前記光散乱材料粒子が、その初期材料から水性仲介剤中での沈殿により形成することができる無機塩類である請求項4に記載の方法。
- 前記光散乱材料粒子が炭酸カルシウム、シュウ酸カルシウム、硫酸カルシウム、硫酸バリウム又はこれらの混合物である請求項6に記載の方法。
- 充填剤重量の無機塩類の割合が75−85重量%である請求項6に記載の方法。
- 前記スラッシに新鮮な供給物として供給する充填剤が、基本的にフィブリル系複合材のみを備える請求項1に記載の方法。
- 複合材料のみならず、循環水によってもたらされる粒子状充填剤も含む繊維材料を製造する請求項1に記載方法。
- セルロース又はリグノセルロースフィブリルと、該フィブリル上に沈殿させた光散乱鉱物粒子とからなる充填剤を含む繊維ウェブの光散乱特性を改善するための分散剤の使用で、前記分散剤が陰イオン性ポリアクリル酸塩又はポリリン酸塩であり、前記分散剤添加の上限が、該分散剤及び充填剤中の鉱物粒子によって形成される水懸濁液の最低粘度に相当する分散剤の割合であり、前記分散剤の量が前記繊維ウェブの乾燥重量の0.05−1.0重量%であり、前記充填剤を繊維スラッシに混入する前に分散剤と接触させることを特徴とする分散剤の使用。
- 前記繊維ウェブの乾燥物の0.05−0.3重量%の割合を有する陰イオン性ポリアクリル酸塩を分散剤として使用する請求項11に記載の使用。
- 充填剤の割合がウェブの乾燥重量の最大15重量%である繊維ウェブを製造する請求項11に記載の使用。
