Claims (10)
- 環状形状を有しかつ70Kにおいて1000W/m・Kを超える熱伝導率及び、3×10 -6 Ωmから3×10 -3 Ωmまでの範囲の電気抵抗率を有する熱分解グラファイトと熱分解窒化ホウ素の少なくとも一方を含む材料を含んだシールド本体(41)を含む超伝導マグネット用熱シールド(40)。
- 前記シールド本体(41)は2.4g/cm3未満の密度を有する材料を含む、請求項1に記載の熱シールド(40)。
- 前記シールド本体(41)は、
超伝導マグネットを囲繞し、中空の円筒形状を有する冷媒容器の周りにおいて環状形状を形成し、
環状の第1の側壁(42)と、
前記第1の側壁(42)と実質的に平行としかつ該第1の側壁(42)の内側に対面して配置させた環状の第2の側壁(44)と、
前記第1及び第2の側壁(42、44)と実質的に直交しかつ該第1及び第2の側壁(42、44)の対応するエッジ間に広がるように配置させた第3の側壁(46)と、
前記第3の側壁(46)と実質的に平行としかつ前記第1及び第2の側壁(42、44)の対応する反対側エッジ間に広がるように配置させた第4の側壁(48)と、
を備えている、請求項1又は2に記載の熱シールド(40)。 - 前記第1及び第2の側壁(42、44)は機械式継ぎ手を介して前記第3及び第4の側壁(48)に接続されている、請求項3に記載の熱シールド(40)。
- 前記機械式継ぎ手は支持リング(58)を各機械式継ぎ手の内側部に配置させて含む、請求項4に記載の熱シールド(40)。
- 前記機械式継ぎ手は高熱伝導性のエポキシ(64)を含む、請求項5に記載の熱シールド(40)。
- 中央支持リング(54)をさらに含み、
前記第1及び第2の側壁(42、44)の各々は第1及び第2の下位部材を備え、
前記第1及び第2の下位部材(50)はそれぞれ前記中央支持リング(54)を介して接続されている、請求項3乃至6のいずれかに記載の熱シールド(40)。 - 前記第1の側壁(42)の内側面に配置された高伝導性のアルミニウム・テープ(70)をさらに含み、
前記アルミニウム・テープ(70)が前記熱シールド(40)の熱放射を低下させる、請求項3乃至7のいずれかに記載の熱シールド(40)。 - アルミニウム合金により制作された熱シールドを更に含み、
前記アルミニウム合金により制作された熱シールドが、前記第1及び第2の側壁(42、44)と接触するように配置され、前記第1及び第2の側壁(42、44)を囲繞する、請求項3乃至8のいずれかに記載の熱シールド(40)。 - 前記超伝導マグネットと、
前記冷媒容器と、
前記冷媒容器を囲繞する、請求項3乃至9のいずれかに記載の低温熱シールド(16)と、
前記低温熱シールド(16)を囲繞する、請求項3乃至9のいずれかに記載の高温熱シールド(18)と、
前記高温熱シールド(18)を囲繞する、環状の真空容器(20)と、
前記低温熱シールド(16)に接触し、前記低温熱シールド(16)を冷却する、第1のコールドヘッド・スリーブ(24)と、
前記高温熱シールド(18)に接触し、前記高温熱シールド(18)を冷却する、第2のコールドヘッド・スリーブ(24)と、
前記真空容器(20)、前記高温熱シールド(18)、前記低温熱シールド(16)及び前記冷媒容器(14)を通過し、前記低温熱シールド(16)及び前記高温熱シールド(18)と熱的な連絡を提供する熱リンク(26)を含む貫通孔を備え、前記冷媒容器の冷却剤と熱的に連絡した再凝縮器(28)と、
を含み、
前記低温熱シールド(16)と前記高温熱シールド(18)との間に環状の間隙が形成される、シールド・システム。
