Claims (5)
- 放送サービス情報を格納するための第1、第2のメモリを備えたデジタル放送システムの受信器における前記放送サービス情報を受信するための方法であって、
制御器が、予め定められたパケット識別子(Packet Identifier:PID)値をPIDフィルタに設定するステップと、
無線ネットワークを介して受信された伝送ストリーム(Transport Stream:TS)パケットから、前記PID値と一致するプログラム特定情報及びサービス情報(Program Specific Information/Service Information:PSI/SI)である放送サービス情報を運ぶPSI/SIパケットを、前記PIDフィルタが検出するステップと、
前記PSI/SIパケットが検出された場合に、前記PIDフィルタがタイマを起動させるステップと、
メモリ制御器を介して、前記PIDフィルタが前記第1、第2のメモリの内の書き込み可能なメモリに前記PSI/SIパケットデータを書き込むステップと、
パケットカウンタが前記検出されたPSI/SIパケットの数をカウントするステップと、
前記タイマが所定のタイマ値までカウントすると、割り込み生成器が前記パケットカウント数を0と比較するステップと、
前記パケットカウント数が0より大きいと、前記割り込み生成器が、前記メモリ制御器を制御して、前記第1、第2のメモリの内、書き込み可能なメモリの動作モードを書き込みから読み取りに、読み取り可能なメモリの動作モードを読み取りから書き込みに、それぞれ切り替えるステップと、
前記第1、第2のメモリの動作モードが切り替わると、前記制御器が、前記メモリ制御器を介して、前記第1、第2のメモリの内の読み取り可能なメモリから前記PSI/SIパケットを読み取るステップと、
を有することを特徴とする方法。 - 前記パケットカウント数が0より大きいと、前記割り込み生成器が、前記制御器が前記PSI/SIパケットを読み取るための割り込み信号を生成し前記制御器に提供するステップをさらに有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記PSI/SIパケットが読み取られると、前記割り込み生成器が前記パケットカウント数を初期値に設定するステップをさらに有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- デジタル放送システムにおける放送サービス情報を受信するための装置であって、
前記放送サービス情報を格納するための第1、第2のメモリと、
前記第1、第2のメモリの動作モードを切り替えるためのメモリ制御器と、
受信された伝送ストリーム(Transport Stream:TS)パケットから、予め定められたパケット識別子(Packet Identifier:PID)と一致するPIDを有するプログラム特定情報及びサービス情報(Program Specific Information/Service Information:PSI/SI)である放送サービス情報を運ぶPSI/SIパケットを検出すると共に、前記メモリ制御器を介して、前記第1、第2のメモリの内の書き込み可能なメモリに前記PSI/SIパケットデータを書き込むパケット識別子(PID)フィルタと、
前記検出されたPSI/SIパケットの数をカウントするパケットカウンタと、
前記伝送ストリームパケットに関してフィルタリングするために前記PIDフィルタにPIDを設定し、前記メモリ制御器を介して、前記第1、第2のメモリの内の読み取り可能なメモリから前記PSI/SIパケットを読み取る制御器と、
前記PSI/SIパケットが検出された場合にカウントを開始するためのタイマと、
前記タイマが所定のタイマ値までカウントされると、パケットカウント数が0より大きいかを検査すると共に、前記パケットカウント数が0より大きいと、前記メモリ制御器を制御して、前記第1、第2のメモリの内、書き込み可能なメモリの動作モードを書き込みから読み取りに、読み取り可能なメモリの動作モードを読み取りから書き込みに、それぞれ切り替える割り込み生成器と、を含み、
前記第1、第2のメモリの動作モードが切り替わると、前記制御器が、前記メモリ制御器を介して、前記第1、第2のメモリの内の読み取り可能なメモリから前記PSI/SIパケットを読み取る
ことを特徴とする装置。 - 前記パケットカウント数が0より大きいと、前記割り込み生成器は、前記制御器が前記PSI/SIパケットを読み取るための割り込み信号を生成し前記制御器に提供することを特徴とする請求項4に記載の装置。
