Description
図1は、本実施例における電界放出型ランプの斜視図である。但し、図1では電界放出型ランプの内部構造を示すことができるように、正面側のスペーサは図示していない。また図2は、図1で示された直線A-A'によって切断した電界放出型ランプの断面図である。但し、図2では図1に示されているスペーサ31を省略してある。

Claims (6)
- 一方の面に複数の凸条部が隣接して配置されたカソード基板であって各々の該凸条部の側面が該凸条部の頂点から末広がりの斜面になっているカソード基板と、
前記カソード基板の前記斜面に設置されたカソード電極と、
前記カソード電極に形成されたエミッタと、
前記カソード基板の隣接する前記凸条部の中間と前記凸条部の頂点とに設置されたゲート電極と、
を有する電界放出型カソード。 - 前記カソード基板の前記斜面が平面であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電界放出型カソード。
- 前記エミッタがカーボンナノチューブまたはカーボンナノホーンであることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の電界放出型カソード。
- 請求項1から3のいずれか1項に記載の電界放出型カソードと、
該電界放出型カソードに離間して配置されたアノード基板であって該アノード基板における前記電界放出カソードに対向する面に蛍光体が塗布された透明電極を有するアノード基板と、
を有する電界放出型ランプ。 - 前記アノード基板の前記透明電極を有する面とこの面とは反対側の面とが、前記凸条部が配置された方向に波打った形状を有することを特徴とする請求項4に記載の電界放出型ランプ。
- 前記アノード基板の前記透明電極を有する面が、前記凸条部が配置された方向に波打った形状を有し、かつ、前記アノード基板の前記透明電極を有する面とは反対側の面が平面であることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の電界放出型ランプ。
