Description
Claims (10)
- 三次元撮像のための超音波診断撮像システムであって:
身体の体積領域にわたって電子的に方向制御可能なビームを走査するよう動作しうるマトリクス・アレイ・トランスデューサと;
前記マトリクス・アレイ・トランスデューサに結合され、前記マトリクス・アレイ・トランスデューサが体積領域を走査するビーム方向制御角を制御するコントローラと;
前記コントローラに結合され、前記コントローラによって制御される体積領域を走査するためのビーム方向制御角を、ある角度範囲にわたってユーザーが連続的に変えられるようにするユーザーコントロールと、
前記マトリクス・アレイ・トランスデューサに結合され、走査される体積領域のライブ3D画像のシーケンスを生成するよう動作する画像プロセッサ、
とを有しており、
前記マトリクス・アレイ・トランスデューサが、電子的に方向制御可能なビームを、ある最大左角からある最大右角まで広がるビーム方向制御角の最大範囲にわたって走査するよう動作可能であり;
前記コントローラが、前記マトリクス・アレイ・トランスデューサを、前記最大範囲内に含まれるが前記最大範囲よりも小さいビーム方向制御角範囲を張る部分体積を走査するよう制御し、
前記部分体積の位置が、前記ユーザーコントロールに反応して、前記最大左角から前記最大右角まで広がる範囲にわたって前記走査される部分体積を連続的に掃引するよう、変えることができる、
超音波診断撮像システム。 - 前記画像プロセッサが、前記ユーザーコントロールに反応して、体積領域が走査される複数のビーム方向制御角に対応する3D画像のシーケンスを生成する、請求項1記載の超音波診断撮像システム。
- 前記画像プロセッサが、前記ユーザーコントロールに反応するスキャンコンバータを含んでいる、請求項2記載の超音波診断撮像システム。
- 当該システムがさらにコントロールパネルを有しており、前記ユーザーコントロールが前記コントロールパネル上のノブである、請求項1記載の超音波診断撮像システム。
- マトリクス・アレイ・トランスデューサによって走査される体積領域の位置を変えるための超音波診断撮像システムの動作方法であって:
ビーム走査角のある最大範囲内であるが該最大範囲より小さいビーム走査角の範囲にわたるある体積領域を走査する段階と;
走査されている体積領域の3D画像を生成する段階と;
連続的に変えられるユーザーコントロールのユーザーによる調整に反応して、前記ビーム走査角の範囲を、ビーム走査角の前記最大範囲内であるが該最大範囲より小さいビーム走査角のある異なる範囲の体積領域を走査するよう調整する段階と;
前記の異なる体積領域を走査する段階と;
前記の異なる体積領域の3D画像を生成する段階、
とを有する方法。 - 前記ユーザーコントロールの調整に反応して、ビーム形成器のパラメータを調整する段階をさらに有する、請求項5記載の方法。
- 前記ユーザーコントロールの調整に反応して、スキャンコンバータのパラメータを調整する段階をさらに有する、請求項6記載の方法。
- 前記ビーム走査角の範囲を調整する段階がさらに、前記超音波診断撮像システムのシステム・コントローラによって、ビーム走査角がビーム走査角の前記最大範囲の限界にあるかどうかを調べる段階を有しており、当該方法がさらに:
新しいビーム走査角がビーム走査角の前記最大範囲の限界を超える場合は、ビーム走査角の範囲を調整せず、同じ体積領域を走査することを含んでおり;
前記の異なる体積領域を走査する段階は同じ体積領域を走査する段階であり;
前記の異なる体積領域の3D画像を生成する段階は同じ体積領域の3D画像を生成する段階である、
請求項5記載の方法。 - 前記のある体積領域を走査する段階が、ビーム方向制御角の60°から90°のある最大範囲内で20°から30°のある幅にわたるビーム方向制御角のある範囲にわたるある体積領域を走査する段階であり;
前記のビーム方向制御角の範囲を調整する段階が、20°から30°の同じ幅にわたる異なる体積領域を走査することを含む、
請求項5記載の方法。 - 連続的に変えられるユーザーコントロールを調整する段階が、ビーム走査角の前記最大範囲によって定義されるある角度にわたって表示される3D体積画像を掃引することを含む、請求項5記載の方法。
