Description
図1に示した活性汚泥処理装置(曝気槽と沈殿槽を用いる標準活性汚泥処理装置)100を用い、活性汚泥処理を行った。有機性排水は、水量50m3/日、BOD150mg/Lの生活廃水を用いた。曝気槽の容量は25m3、沈殿槽の容量は25m3とした。返送汚泥は、約5°Cに冷却し、当該温度で30分間維持した後、曝気槽に返送した。3ヶ月後に曝気槽の一般細菌数とバチルス菌数を測定した。
返送汚泥を冷却しない点以外は実施例1と同様とした。
Claims (4)
- 有機性排水を曝気処理する曝気槽と、前記曝気槽から汚泥を含む処理水を導入し固液分離する固液分離手段と、前記固液分離手段で分離された汚泥を返送汚泥として前記曝気槽又は当該曝気槽より上流に返送する汚泥返送ラインと、を具備した活性汚泥処理装置において、
前記固液分離手段により固液分離された前記返送汚泥を冷却する冷却手段を備えたことを特徴とする活性汚泥処理装置。 - 前記冷却手段は、
前記返送汚泥を冷却する熱交換器と、
前記熱交換器で冷却された返送汚泥を一定時間冷却する冷却水槽と、を有することを特徴とする請求項1記載の活性汚泥処理装置。 - 前記冷却手段による前記返送汚泥に対する冷却の前に、当該返送汚泥を濃縮する濃縮手段を有することを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載の活性汚泥処理装置。
- 有機性排水を曝気槽で曝気処理し、前記曝気槽から汚泥を含む処理水を固液分離手段に導入して固液分離し、前記固液分離手段で分離した汚泥を返送汚泥として汚泥返送ラインを介して前記曝気槽又は当該曝気槽より上流に返送する活性汚泥処理方法において、
前記固液分離手段により固液分離された前記返送汚泥を冷却手段により冷却することを特徴とする活性汚泥処理方法。
