Description
[混練工程1]
実施例1〜4、比較例1〜2は、架橋塊の材料として、スチレン・ブタジエンブロック共重合体(SBS)、高密度ポリエチレン(HDPE)、超高分子量ポリエチレン(UHMW−PE)、シリコーンオイル、黒顔料を、表2に示す組成に従って配合し、190℃に加温した二軸押出機でスクリュー回転を200rpm、該材料を100kg/hrの供給量で混練してペレットを作製した。なお、表2中の%は重量%を示す。
一方、エチレン・プロピレン・ジエンゴム(EPDM)、ポリプロピレン(PP)、ハイドロジェンポリシロキサン、シリカ、フェノール系抗酸化剤、黒顔料を、表2に示す組成に従って配合し、バンバリーミキサーで混練し、ルーダーを通してペレットを作製した。
次いで、上記架橋塊、上記動的架橋型熱可塑性エラストマーのペレット、シリコーン系摺動剤、シリコーンオイル、耐候性向上剤(UVA、HALS)及びPPを、表2に示す組成に従って配合し、二軸押出機で混練して、摺動部材用ペレットを作製した。
(1)摺動部材中の高分子A群の比率(%)、高分子A群中のドメイン1の比率(%)、高分子A群中のドメイン2の比率(%)、及び摺動部材中の高分子B群の比率(%)についての評価

実施例1〜4、比較例1〜3に係る300mm幅のウェザーストリップを治具に固定し、該ウェザーストリップの片側のリップに、モーターによって平均150mm/秒の速さで水平可動する100mm幅、4mm厚さの板ガラスを、リップに対して10Nの荷重がかかる条件下で摺接させて、繰り返し摩擦接触試験を行った。板ガラスと接触するリップの摺動部材の面積は約0.5cm2でセットする。板ガラスとリップの摺動部材は線状に接触し、摺動回数を増すごとにその接触幅は少しずつ広くなるが、摩耗痕が5mmを超えることは稀である。繰り返し摩擦接触試験は、まず、ウェザーストリップのリップに泥水を付けて板ガラスの往復運動を50回行い、次いで、該リップを布で拭いた後、水を付けて板ガラスの往復運動を50回行い、次いで、該リップを布で拭いた後、乾燥した状態で板ガラスの往復運動を200回行い、次いで、該リップに水を付けて板ガラスの往復運動を50回行い、計350回のこれらの往復運動を1セットとし、これを20セット連続して行った。
Claims (4)
- 以下の高分子A群及び高分子B群を含有し、
ドメイン1は、高分子B群から構成される相とドメイン2の間に介在している、ウェザーストリップ用組成物。
高分子A群:エチレン系重合体、エチレン・α−オレフィン・ジエン共重合体(α−オレフィンの炭素数は3〜20)、及び共役ジエン単量体と芳香族ビニル単量体とからなる共重合体、からなる群より選ばれる重合体の架橋体からなるドメイン1と、エチレン系重合体の架橋体からなるドメイン2と、で構成され、前記ドメイン1の周波数200Hz、温度23℃の条件下における貯蔵弾性率E’が、3GPa以上9GPa未満、損失正接tanδが0.1〜0.4であり、前記ドメイン2の同条件下における貯蔵弾性率E’が9GPa以上13GPa以下、損失正接tanδが0.1〜0.3であり、前記高分子A群中、前記ドメイン1と前記ドメイン2の比率(ドメイン1:ドメイン2)が、50〜95重量%:5〜50重量%である高分子群(但し、当該高分子群の含有量は、前記ウェザーストリップ用組成物の全重量基準で40〜90重量%)、
高分子B群:プロピレン重合体からなり、同条件下で測定した貯蔵弾性率E’が5GPa〜17GPa、損失正接tanδが0.4より大きく、0.7以下である高分子群(但し、当該高分子群の含有量は、前記ウェザーストリップ用組成物の全重量基準で10〜40重量%)。 - 更にシリコーン化合物を5〜20重量%含有する、請求項1に記載のウェザーストリップ用組成物。
- ウェザーストリップにおける、窓ガラスと摺接するリップの摺接部を被覆する摺動部材であって、前記摺動部材は請求項1又は2に記載のウェザーストリップ用組成物からなる摺動部材。
- 窓ガラスと摺接するリップの摺接部が摺動部材によって被覆されたウェザーストリップであって、前記摺動部材は請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載のウェザーストリップ用組成物からなるウェザーストリップ。
