Claims (5)
- バッテリと、
太陽電池と、
表示装置の輝度を制御するための照度センサと、
前記表示装置の輝度を制御するための照度センサが検出した照度が所定の値を越えている場合、前記バッテリによる電力供給を停止して前記太陽電池から出力される電力を用いて前記バッテリを充電し、前記表示装置の輝度を制御するための照度センサが検出した照度が所定の値以下であった場合、前記太陽電池から出力される電力を用いた前記バッテリの充電を停止して前記バッテリによる電力供給を実行する制御手段と、
を具備する情報処理装置。 - 前記表示装置は、バックライトを備えた液晶ディスプレイ装置であり、
前記バッテリによる電力供給は、前記液晶ディスプレイ装置のバックライトを点灯させるために実行される請求項1記載の情報処理装置。 - 本体と、
前記本体の上面が露出される開放位置と前記本体の上面を覆う閉塞位置との間を回動自在に前記本体に取り付けられる蓋体と、
を具備し、
前記液晶ディスプレイ装置が、前記閉塞位置にある時に覆われる前記蓋体の内側面に配置され、
前記太陽電池の太陽光パネルが、前記閉塞位置にある時に露出される前記蓋体の外側面に配置され、
前記照度センサが、前記蓋体の上端部に配置される、
請求項2記載の情報処理装置。 - LED(light emitting diode)を具備し、
前記バッテリによる電力供給は、前記LEDを発光させるために実行される請求項1記載の情報処理装置。 - 太陽電池と表示装置の輝度を制御するための照度センサとを搭載するバッテリ駆動可能な情報処理装置におけるバッテリの制御方法であって、
前記表示装置の輝度を制御するための照度センサが検出した照度が所定の値を越えている場合、前記バッテリによる電力供給を停止して前記太陽電池から出力される電力を用いて前記バッテリを充電し、
前記表示装置の輝度を制御するための照度センサが検出した照度が所定の値以下であった場合、前記太陽電池から出力される電力を用いた前記バッテリの充電を停止して前記バッテリによる電力供給を実行する、
バッテリの制御方法。
