Description
これにより部品コストの低減が図れ、LED6,7,8と冷却用ファン5のいずれか一方の異常時には、他方を停止させることが可能となる。
Claims (3)
- 半導体光源と、
前記半導体光源と直列接続され、前記半導体光源を冷却するファンと、
電源から供給される電力を受け、前記半導体光源および前記ファンに電流を供給する電流供給回路とを有し、
前記電流供給回路は、
前記ファンと並列に接続され、オフ動作時に前記半導体光源および前記ファンに電流を供給し、オン動作時に前記ファンにのみバイパスして前記ファンに入力する電流の供給を停止するスイッチ素子と、
前記スイッチ素子を駆動するスイッチ駆動回路とを有する
ことを特徴とする車両用灯具。 - 前記スイッチ素子のデューティ比は前記ファンに入力される平均電流の大きさを所定の定格電流以下にするように設定される
ことを特徴とする請求項1記載の車両用灯具。 - 前記電流供給回路は該電流供給回路から供給される出力電流を検出する電流検出回路を有し、
前記電流検出回路によって検出された出力電流の大きさが予め決められた閾値以下になった状態が所定の基準時間継続した場合に、前記出力電流を停止するように制御し、
前記基準時間は前記スイッチ素子のオフ動作時間以下である
ことを特徴とする請求項2記載の車両用灯具。
