Description
この特徴を達成する或る方法は、フィリップス製のナイトガイド自動車用ランプと同様に、ヘッドライトのランプの外面に適切なカラーコーティングを設けるものである。しかしながら、このようなカラーコーティングは、ランプからの光の一部を吸収及び/反射し得ることから、ヘッドライトの効率を阻害し得る。別の方法は、2つのタイプの光源、黄色光を供給する光源及び青色光を供給する光源を用いるものであり得る。しかしながら、2つの異なる光源は、時間、温度などに応じて、異なった挙動をし、時間がたつにつれヘッドライトの一貫性のない動作をもたらすかもしれない。更に、2つの異なる光源を駆動するためにより高度な電子回路が必要とされる。また、異なる技術に基づく光源は、異なる故障メカニズムを持ち、幾つかのタイプの光源を含むヘッドライトを、より故障に弱くするかもしれない。
Claims (8)
- 車両用のヘッドライトであって、
青色光を放射するよう適合される少なくとも1つのLEDチップ、及び前記青色光の一部を黄色光に変換するための少なくとも1つの被覆変換層を含むLEDであって、前記青色光及び前記黄色光の一部が、前記LEDの垂線の方向に放射される青みがかった白色光を形成し、前記青色光及び前記黄色光の一部が、より大きい発射角で放射される黄色がかった白色光を形成するLEDと、
前記黄色がかった白色光の少なくとも一部を前記ヘッドライトの中央方向に向け、前記青みがかった白色光の少なくとも一部を前記ヘッドライトの周囲方向に向ける手段とを有するヘッドライト。 - 請求項1に記載のヘッドライトであって、更に、前記向ける手段が、前記LEDチップの側方から放射されるあらゆる無変換青色光を前記ヘッドライトの前記周囲方向に向けるよう適合されるヘッドライト。
- 請求項1又は2に記載のヘッドライトであって、前記向ける手段が、反射素子、屈折素子及び回折素子のうちの少なくとも1つを有するヘッドライト。
- 請求項1に記載のヘッドライトであって、前記LEDを覆う、シリコーンレンズなどのレンズを更に有するヘッドライト。
- 請求項1に記載のヘッドライトであって、前記変換層が、セラミック変換板などの固体変換板であるヘッドライト。
- 請求項1に記載のヘッドライトであって、前記変換層が蛍光体を有するヘッドライト。
- 請求項1乃至6のいずれか一項に記載のヘッドライトを少なくとも1つ有する車両。
- 請求項7に記載の車両であって、前記ヘッドライトの前記中央方向が、前記車両の主要前方運転方向とほぼ一致する車両。
