Claims (1)
- 筒内に形成されるタンブル流を燃料噴射弁から噴射する燃料で強化する、筒内噴射式の火花点火内燃機関であって、
前記燃料噴射弁の燃料噴射方向が前記タンブル流と同じ方向に設定され、
前記燃料が衝突するピストンの頂面に、燃料噴霧の流れを前記タンブル流の方向へ誘導する誘導構造が設けてあり、
前記誘導構造は、前記ピストンの頂面の排気側に衝突する前記燃料噴霧の流れを吸気側に反転して誘導するよう湾曲した複数の凹部を有し、
前記複数の凹部は、上下動する前記ピストンの異なる高さ位置で前記燃料噴霧の流れを吸気側に反転して誘導するよう段差構造に形成され、
前記燃料噴射弁の燃料噴射を制御する制御手段を更に備え、
前記制御手段は、前記段差構造の段差位置に応じて燃料を分割噴射する、ことを特徴とする筒内噴射式火花点火内燃機関。
