Claims (13)
- イメージデータを表示する有機EL(OLED)パネルと、
複数のラインデータからなる前記イメージデータを格納するメモリ、
前記メモリから送信された第1ラインデータをラッチする第1ディスプレイラッチ、
第2ラインデータをラッチして、前記有機ELパネルに出力する第2ディスプレイラッチ、
第1水平アドレスをデコードして、前記第1ディスプレイラッチにラッチされた第1ラインデータのうち、前記第1水平アドレスに応じて選択された1つのピクセルデータを送信する第1デコード手段、
第2水平アドレスをデコードして、前記第1デコード手段から送信された各ピクセルデータを前記第2ディスプレイラッチの特定位置に送信する第2デコード手段、及び、
前記ピクセルデータを送信するためのピクセルアドレス信号を含む前記第1水平アドレス及び前記第2水平アドレスを出力する制御部を有し、前記第2ディスプレイラッチの前記イメージデータである前記ピクセルデータを前記有機ELパネルに出力する有機ELパネル駆動回路と
を備えたことを特徴とする有機ELディスプレイ装置。 - 前記第1水平アドレスが、さらに、
前記ピクセルデータの送信を防止するためのフローティング信号を含む
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の有機ELディスプレイ装置。 - 前記制御部が、
前記第1及び第2ディスプレイラッチのイネーブルを制御することを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2に記載の有機ELディスプレイ装置。 - 前記有機ELパネル駆動回路が、
前記ピクセルデータを、前記第1デコード手段から前記第2デコード手段に送信するためのデータバスをさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2に記載の有機ELディスプレイ装置。 - 前記制御部が、
接地電圧を出力するためのリセット信号と、前記ピクセルデータが送信される場合、該ピクセルデータを送信するためのデータ信号、前記ピクセルデータが送信されない場合、該ピクセルデータを置き換えるためのデータ信号とを含む制御信号を出力することを特徴とする請求項2に記載の有機ELディスプレイ装置。 - メモリから送信された第1ラインデータを第1ディスプレイラッチにラッチするステップ(a1)、
前記第1ラインデータのピクセルデータを送信するために、第1水平アドレスをデコードするステップ(a2)、
送信された前記ピクセルデータを第2ディスプレイラッチの所定の位置にイメージデータとして送信するために、第2水平アドレスをデコードするステップ(a3)、
前記第2ディスプレイラッチの前記ピクセルデータをイメージデータとして出力するステップ(a4)、及び、
前記イメージデータを表示するステップ(a5)
を含むことを特徴とする有機ELディスプレイ装置の駆動方法。 - 前記第1水平アドレスが、フローティング信号とピクセルアドレス信号とを含むことを特徴とする請求項6に記載の有機ELパネル装置の駆動方法。
- 前記フローティング信号が、前記ピクセルデータの送信を防ぐための信号であることを特徴とする請求項7に記載の有機ELパネル装置の駆動方法。
- 前記ピクセルアドレス信号が、前記ピクセルデータの送信のためのものであることを特徴とする請求項7に記載の有機ELディスプレイ装置の駆動方法。
- 前記制御信号が、リセット信号とデータ信号とを含むことを特徴とする請求項6に記載の有機ELディスプレイ装置の駆動方法。
- 前記リセット信号が、接地電圧を出力するための信号であることを特徴とする請求項10に記載の有機ELディスプレイ装置の駆動方法。
- 前記データ信号が、送信される前記ピクセルデータがある場合には、該ピクセルデータを送信するための信号であることを特徴とする請求項10に記載の有機ELディスプレイ装置の駆動方法。
- 前記データ信号が、送信される前記ピクセルデータがない場合には、該ピクセルデータを置き換えるための信号であることを特徴とする請求項10に記載の有機ELディスプレイ装置の駆動方法。
