Description
2[Na2CO3.NaHCO3.2H2O] → 3Na2CO3+5H2O+CO2
重炭酸ナトリウムは高温で同様の反応を経る。

Na2CO3+SO3 → Na2SO4+CO2
NaHCO3+SO3 → NaHSO4+SO3
Na2CO3+2SO3+H2O → 2NaHSO4+CO2
2NaHSO4 → Na2S2O7
T-200(登録商標)トロナを367°Fの排ガス温度で排ガス中に注入した。プラント内のESPの多孔板は、約2週間に亘るSO3除去システムの操作後には著しい固体堆積を呈した。
365°F未満の排ガス温度でトロナを注入するという変更を加えて、実施例1の操作を繰り返した。実施例1の多孔板と比較して、プラント内のESPの多孔板は、2週間に亘るSO3除去システムの操作後にも著しく少ない固体堆積を呈した。
約500°Fの排ガス温度でトロナを注入するという変更を加えて、実施例1の操作を繰り返した。プラント内のESPの多孔板には、T-200(登録商標)トロナを使用する2週間のSO3除去システムの操作後にも固体堆積が比較的に少なかった。
Claims (16)
- SO3及び飛散灰を含む排ガス流からSO3を除去する間の目詰まりを低減するための方法であって、
・炭酸ナトリウム、重炭酸ナトリウム、セスキ炭酸ナトリウム、及びこれらの混合物からなる群より選択される、40ミクロン未満の平均粒径を有する反応化合物を提供する工程;
・反応化合物を排ガス流に注入する工程であって、排ガスの温度が287.8℃乃至454.4℃である工程;及び
・反応化合物と排ガスとを接触状態に維持して、排ガス流中のSO3の濃度を低減させ、かつ排ガス流で付着する粘着性の灰残渣を形成させないため、飛散灰と組み合わされる液体NaHSO4反応生成物の形成を実質的に防ぐ工程であって、ここで反応化合物とSO3との反応生成物がNa2SO4、Na2S2O7、及びこれらの混合物からなる群より選択される工程;
を含む方法。 - 反応化合物が注入される位置の上流に、NOx除去システムを提供する工程を更に含む、請求項1の方法。
- 排ガス流が、反応化合物が注入される位置の上流に少なくとも3ppmのSO3を含む、請求項1の方法。
- 排ガス流が、反応化合物が注入される位置の上流に10ppm乃至200ppmのSO3を含む、請求項3の方法。
- 反応化合物が、セスキ炭酸ナトリウムである、請求項1の方法。
- 反応化合物の平均粒径が、10ミクロン乃至40ミクロンである、請求項5の方法。
- 反応化合物の平均粒径が、24ミクロン乃至28ミクロンである、請求項6の方法。
- 排ガスの温度が、398.9℃未満である、請求項1の方法。
- 排ガスの温度が、287.8℃乃至398.9℃である、請求項1の方法。
- 反応化合物を、SO3の流速に対して、硫黄に対するナトリウムの正規化化学量論比が1.0乃至1.5となる流速で注入する、請求項1の方法。
- 反応化合物が、乾燥物質として注入される、請求項1の方法。
- 反応化合物を排ガス流に隣接する位置で所望の平均粒径に粉砕する工程を更に含む、請求項1の方法。
- 反応化合物とSO3との反応生成物が、Na2SO4、Na2S2O7、及びこれらの混合物からなる群より選択される、請求項1の方法。
- 排ガス流が更にSO2を含む請求項1の方法であって、反応化合物と排ガスとを、排ガス流中のSO2の濃度を低減させるために接触状態に維持する工程を更に含む方法。
- 少なくとも3ppmのSO3を含む排ガス流からSO3を除去する方法であって、
・10ミクロン乃至40ミクロンの平均粒径を有するトロナ供給源を準備する工程;
・外気を排ガス流に導入して、排ガスの温度を185.0℃未満に低下させる工程;
・トロナを乾燥粒状物質として排ガス流に注入する工程であって、排ガスの温度が135.0℃乃至185.0℃である工程;及び
・トロナと排ガスとを、排ガス流中のSO3の濃度を低減させるために接触状態に維持する工程であって、反応生成物が固相Na2SO4、固相NaHSO4、及びこれらの混合物からなる群より選択される工程;
を含む方法。 - 排ガス流が、トロナが注入される位置の上流に10ppm乃至200ppmのSO3を含む、請求項15の方法。
