Description
Claims (16)
- 内部導体を形成するために、硬化可能材料(26)が内包された状態で導電性チューブ(24)を形成してから、当該導電性チューブ内部における前記硬化可能材料(26)を硬化させるステップと、
前記内部導体を包囲する誘電体層(32)を形成するステップと、
前記誘電体層(32)を包囲する外部導体(34)を形成するステップと、
を具えている、同軸ケーブル(12)の製造方法。 - 前記誘電体層(32)及び前記外部導体(34)を形成するステップが、前記導電性チューブ(24)の形成に引き続き行われる、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記硬化可能材料を硬化させるステップが、前記導電性チューブ(24)を完全に充填すべく硬化可能材料(26)を硬化させることを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記同軸ケーブル(12)を巻取りリール(82)に巻回させるステップも含み、かつ前記硬化可能材料を硬化させるステップが、前記巻取りリール(82)に巻回させる前に、安定した内部導体を形成すべく前記硬化可能材料(26)を硬化させることを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記硬化可能材料(26)が膨張可能でもあり、かつ前記硬化可能材料(26)を硬化させるステップはさらに、前記導電性チューブ(24)内部で前記硬化可能かつ膨張可能な材料(26)を膨張させることを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記膨張処理は、化学反応、温度変化、圧力変化、及び光学的エネルギーの照射のうち少なくとも1つにより膨張させることを含む、請求項5に記載の方法。
- 前記導電性チューブ(24)の形成が、
導電細条(38)を走行経路に沿って前進させるステップと、
前記導電細条(38)を、前記走行経路に沿って前進させる際に、長手方向の継ぎ目を有するチューブに折り曲げるステップと、
前記長手方向の継ぎ目を溶接するステップと、
を具えている、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記導電性チューブ(24)の形成がさらに、前記導電細条(38)を前記走行経路に沿って前進させながら、前記導電細条(38)に前記硬化可能材料(26)を分配することを含む、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 前記導電性チューブ(24)の形成がさらに、前記導電細条(38)を前記走行経路に沿って前進させる前に、前記導電細条(38)に前記硬化可能材料(26)を分配しておくことを具える、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 前記導電性チューブ(24)の形成が、前記硬化可能材料(26)を分配するために、前記導電性チューブ(24)内で固定された少なくとも1つの細長牽引部材(29”)を使用して、前記硬化可能材料(26)を当該導電性チューブ(24)の中に引き込むようにすることを含む、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 前記少なくとも1つの細長牽引部材(29”)が、前記硬化可能材料(26)の少なくとも部分を保持する、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記導電性チューブ(24)の形成がさらに、溶接後に前記内部導体の直径を縮小することを含む、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 前記導電性チューブ(24)の形成がさらに、前記導電性チューブ(24)内に接着剤層(48)を被着することを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記硬化可能材料(26)が、ポリウレタン、ポリスチレン、及びポリオレフィンの少なくとも1つを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記内部導体、前記誘電体層(32)、及び前記外部導体(34)の形成に引き続き、さらに前記外部導体(34)を包囲するジャケット(74)を形成することを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記導電性チューブ(24)が銅を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
