Claims (7)
- 脊椎ロッドシステムにおいて、
長手方向軸に沿って第1端とその反対側の第2端の間をのびる第1の細長いロッドであって、前記第1端は、雄ねじが切られた面輪郭を有する第1連結体と、少なくともその一方の側に沿う、ねじが切られていない第1接触面とを含んでいる、第1の細長いロッドと、
長手方向軸に沿って第1端とその反対側の第2端の間をのびる第2の細長いロッドであって、前記第1端は、雄ねじが切られた面輪郭を有する第2連結体と、少なくともその一方の側に沿う、ねじが切られていない第2接触面とを含んでいる、第2の細長いロッドと、
第1孔及び第2孔を有する連結部材を含んでいる連結機構であって、前記第1孔は、前記第1接触面が前記第1孔と連通している第1横断軸方向孔と整列した状態で、前記第1連結体をねじ込むためのものであり、前記第2孔は、前記第2接触面が前記第2孔と連通している第2横断軸方向孔と整列した状態で、前記第2連結体をねじ込むためのものであり、前記第1横断軸方向孔は、前記第1接触面と接触した状態で配置できる第1係合部材を受け入れて、前記第1の細長いロッドを前記連結部材に対して所定の位置に保持し、前記第2横断軸方向孔は、前記第2接触面と接触した状態で配置できる第2係合部材を受け入れて、前記第2の細長いロッドを前記連結部材に対して所定の位置に保持する、連結機構とを備えており、
前記第2孔は、前記第1孔から横方向にオフセットされて前記第1孔に対して平行にのび、前記第1の細長いロッド及び前記第2の細長いロッドは、互いに反対方向へのびる、脊椎ロッドシステム。 - 前記第1の細長いロッドは、その第1端においてねじ部を欠いた端部材を備え、前記第2の細長いロッドは、その第1端においてねじ部を欠いた端部材を備える、請求項1に記載の脊椎ロッドシステム。
- 前記第1の細長いロッドは、その第2端から前記第1連結体までのびる第1ロッド部分を有し、
前記第2の細長いロッドは、その第2端から前記第2連結体までのびる第2ロッド部分を有し、
前記第1ロッド部分及び前記第2ロッド部分には、互いに異なる特性が設けられている、請求項1又は2に記載の脊椎ロッドシステム。 - 前記第1ロッド部分の直径と前記第2ロッド部分の直径とは同じである、請求項3に記載のシステム。
- 前記第1ロッド部分の直径は、前記第2ロッド部分の直径よりも小さい、請求項3に記載のシステム。
- 前記第1接触面は前記第1連結体の前記雄ねじが切られた面輪郭に比べて平らであり、前記第2接触面は前記第2連結体の前記雄ねじが切られた面輪郭に比べて平らである、請求項1乃至5の何れか1項に記載のシステム。
- 前記第1横断軸方向孔及び前記第2横断軸方向孔には雌ねじが切られており、前記第1係合部材及び前記第2係合部材は、雄ねじが切られたセットスクリューである、請求項1乃至6の何れか1項に記載のシステム。
