Claims (3)
- リング網の互いに異なった方路に接続され、入力されたバーチャルコンテナを前記リング網の容量に適した単位のフレームに集約したり時分割多重フレームの分離を行うフレーム集約・分離回路を備え、時分割多重トラヒックとパケットトラヒックを多重するリング側時分割多重装置を有する一対の入出力インタフェースと、
これら一対の入出力インタフェースとは独立して実装され、前記一対の入出力インタフェースと対応してパケットの処理を行うと共に相互に接続されており、前記パケットトラヒックの処理を行うルーチング部と、固定長のバーチャルコンテナを多重化したり、逆に分離化するコンテナ多重化・分離化回路と、前記リング網のリングの選択を行うリングセレクト回路と、パケットリングフレームの多重化と分離化を行うパケットリングフレーム多重化・分離化回路をそれぞれ備えた一対のパケットリング装置と、
前記リング網の周囲を取り巻くように配置される複数のクライアント網の対応するものと接続されたパケット送受信用の一対のパケット送受信機および一対のクライアント側時分割多重装置と、
前記一対のパケット送受信機と接続されたパケットスイッチと、前記一対のクライアント側時分割多重装置と接続された時分割多重スイッチとを備えており、前記入出力インタフェース、パケットリング装置およびパケット送受信機とは独立して実装され、前記パケット送受信機およびクライアント側時分割多重装置と、前記入出力インタフェースおよびパケットリング装置の間で交換処理を行う交換処理部
とを具備することを特徴とするリング伝送装置。 - 前記リング網は光リング網であることを特徴とする請求項1記載のリング伝送装置。
- 前記入出力インタフェースは高速インタフェースであることを特徴とする請求項1記載のリング伝送装置。
