Description
本発明は、切除された組織腔周辺の組織を配置することによって、および外部放射線を照射することによって、増殖性の組織障害を処置するための方法、システム、および装置を提供する。本方法は、まず少なくとも一部の増殖性の組織を外科的に切除し、それによって切除腔を作製する工程を含む。次に、拡張可能な表面を有する組織固定装置が提供されるが、ここで、拡張可能な表面は、拡張可能な表面を拡張位置へと拡張する時に、切除腔周辺の組織を再現可能に所定の幾何学的配置で配置するために、大きさを設定されかつ構成されている。次に、拡張可能な表面を切除腔内部に配置し、かつ、拡張可能な表面を、切除腔周辺の組織を所定の幾何学的配置で配置するために拡張する。最後に、外部放射線処置が、切除腔周辺の組織に適用される。
本発明は、増殖性の組織の少なくとも一部を外科的に切除して切除腔を作製し、引き続いて、残存する腫瘍縁の外部放射線療法を行うことにより、乳房の悪性腫瘍などの増殖性の組織障害を処置するためのシステムおよび方法を提供する。放射線処置の精度を改善するために、組織固定装置が提供され、切除された腔周辺の組織を配置するおよび/または安定化する。
Claims (15)
- 近位端、遠位端、内部管腔、および、遠位端近傍に配置された拡張可能な表面要素を有するカテーテル本体部材を含む組織固定装置であって、拡張可能な表面要素が、拡張の際に、切除された組織腔周辺の組織を再現可能に所定の幾何学的配置で配置するために、大きさを設定されかつ構成されている、組織固定装置;ならびに
拡張可能な表面要素周辺の組織に放射線の線量を輸送できるように、切除された腔の外側に配置された外部放射線装置
を含む、増殖性の組織障害の影響を受ける可能性のある切除された腔周辺の組織を処置するためのシステムであって、組織固定装置が、外部放射線装置からの放射線ビームが正確に輸送されるように、切除された組織腔内部に配置されることができかつ周辺組織を配置するために拡張されることができる、システム。 - 拡張可能な表面要素が固形の膨張性表面であり、空間容量が、密閉された膨張性のチャンバであり、拡張可能な表面要素が放射線透過性壁である、請求項1記載のシステム。
- 拡張可能な表面要素を拡張するために使用される媒体が非放射性気体からなる、請求項2記載のシステム。
- 拡張可能な表面が、拡張可能なケージによって作製される、請求項1記載のシステム。
- 拡張可能なケージが形状記憶物質を含む、請求項4記載のシステム。
- 切除腔が、乳腺腫瘤摘出手順の際に作製される、請求項1記載のシステム。
- 外部放射線源が外部ビーム放射線装置である、請求項1記載のシステム。
- 外部放射線源が三次元構造的放射線療法装置である、請求項1記載のシステム。
- 外部放射線源が強度変調放射線療法装置である、請求項1記載のシステム。
- 基準マーカーが組織固定装置上に配置されている、請求項1記載のシステム。
- 近位口を規定する開放近位端、遠位端、および、開放近位端から延びた内側管腔を有する細長い本体部材であって、拡張可能な表面要素を、乳腺腫瘤摘出手順によって作製された切除腔へと輸送するように大きさを設定されている、細長い本体部材;
本体部材の遠位端近傍に配置される拡張可能な表面要素であって、拡張可能な表面要素が、拡張時に、拡張可能な表面要素によって規定される空間容量を持って、切除された組織腔周辺の組織を再現可能に所定の幾何学的配置で配置するように大きさを設定されかつ構成される、拡張可能な表面要素
を含む、乳腺腫瘤摘出手順の後に増殖性の組織障害を処置するための装置であって、
拡張可能な表面要素が、周辺組織を配置するように、および外部放射線源が放射線の線量を正確に輸送することを可能にするように、乳腺腫瘤摘出手順の際に乳房中に作製された組織腔を満たすために大きさを設定されている、装置。 - 基準マーカーが組織固定装置上に配置されている、請求項11記載の装置。
- 基準マーカーが放射線不透過性であり、画像化がX線撮影により行われる、請求項12記載の装置。
- 基準マーカーが、受信機によってその信号が読み取られて解釈される信号応答機である、請求項12記載の装置。
