Description
フィルム試料の製造及び架橋
重量平均分子量約2,000,000及び、2重量%水溶液で測定された粘度約3,000mPa・sを有するポリエチレンオキシド62.4部、並びにベンゾフェノン1.2部を、低剪断配合機中で5分間ドライブレンドする。ポリエチレンオキシドは、Amerchol Corporationから商品名“POLYOX N−60K”水溶性樹脂として購入できる。イソプロピルアルコール9.1部中にビタミンE0.1部を含む溶液を、その粉末混合物に添加する。ドライブレンドの後、その混合物は95℃のブラベンダー混合ボウルに充填される。水18.2部及びグリセリン9.1部を、可塑剤としてブラベンダー混合ボウル中のその混合物に加える。その溶融混合物は、次いで油圧プレスに移し、95℃、2500psi(17.2MPa)で10ミル(0.25mm)のフィルムに圧縮成型する。フィルム試料は、それらがそのプレス中で室温に冷却された後、集められてポリエチレン袋中に保管する。
製造されたフィルム試料の接着性は、Texture Technologies Corporation製の“Texture Analyzer”を用いて測定する。試験を間違いなく実施するために、2inch×2inch(5cm×5cm)の部分架橋フィルムを、両面接着テープによってプラットホームに接着する。フィルムの表面は水で2回濡らす。30秒の水和時間の後、直径1inch(2.5cm)のアクリル製円筒形プローブを、そのフィルム試料上に500gfで、10秒間押し付ける。フィルム試料及びプローブは、フィルム中央の非架橋円形部がプローブの中心と一致するように配置する。接着強度の測定は、10秒の接触時間の後、アクリル製円筒形プローブがフィルムから引き離されるときに実施する。下記の表Iに試験結果をまとめる。
図3は、照射を受けていない比較例Cの非架橋フィルムと比較した、実施例1及び2の部分架橋フィルムの水溶性を図示したものである。データは、水に接触する前の乾燥フィルム試料の面積(長さ×幅)を先ず測定することにより作成する。次いで、それぞれの乾燥フィルムの試料をワイヤーメッシュスクリーンの上に置き、試験期間の間完全に水中に浸漬する。所定時間の経過後、湿潤フィルムの面積を測定する。フィルムの膨潤率(swell ratio)は、所定時間経過後に、膨潤フィルム試料の面積を乾燥フィルムの面積で除すことにより表す。図3は、比較例Cの非架橋フィルムがすぐに水に溶解することを図示している。それは、フィルムの保全性が必要であるような最終用途には有用ではない。
Claims (11)
- フィルムの片側又は両側に、i)架橋アルキレンオキシドホモ−又はコポリマーの凝集パターン及びii)非架橋アルキレンオキシドホモ−又はコポリマーの領域を含んでなるアルキレンオキシドホモ−又はコポリマーを含むポリマーフィルム。
- アルキレンオキシドホモ−又はコポリマーが、C2〜C4アルキレンオキシドホモ−又はコポリマーである請求項1に記載のフィルム。
- フィルムの合計重量に基づいて、エチレンオキシドホモ−又はコポリマーを少なくとも40重量%含む請求項1に記載のフィルム。
- 光開始剤を更に含む請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載のフィルム。
- 光開始剤がベンゾフェノンである請求項4に記載のフィルム。
- アルキレンオキシドホモ−又はコポリマーの合計重量に基づいて、光開始剤0.4〜5重量%を含む請求項4又は5に記載のフィルム。
- 請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載のフィルムを含む複合体製品。
- a)アルキレンオキシドホモ−又はコポリマーを含むフィルムを製造し、b)そのフィルムの片側又は両側の選択された領域を放射線から防護して、非防護フィルム材料の凝集パターンを残し、そしてc)そのフィルムの片側又は両側を放射線に曝露する各工程を含んでなる請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載のフィルムの製造方法。
- フィルムはその両側を照射する請求項8に記載の方法。
- 請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載のフィルムの接着性フィルムとしての使用又は接着フィルム製造のための使用。
- 請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載のフィルムの創傷被覆フィルム又は薬剤放出フィルム製造のための使用。
