Description

本発明は、樹脂集積配管の製造方法に関し、さらに詳しくは、積層した樹脂プレートを溶着して樹脂プレート間に流路を形成する際に、流路に流体漏れが生じないように確実に、かつ容易に溶着するようにした樹脂集積配管の製造方法に関するものである。
近年、燃料電池システムの開発が盛んに行なわれ、これに伴って、燃料電池システムに用いられる配管構造についても種々の提案がされている(例えば、特許文献1参照)。この特許文献1の提案では、アルミニウムなどからなるプレートに、流路を構成する溝を設け、この溝を設けた2枚のプレートの面間を接合することにより、プレート間に流路を一体的に形成して、複雑な配管を省スペースで集積度を高くして設けるようにしている。また、溝の表面に防蝕層を形成して、流通する腐食性流体による流路の腐食を防止し、配管の長寿命化を図るようにしている。
このような集積配管では、プレートを樹脂で成形することにより、製造を容易にし、かつ軽量化を図ることができるが、樹脂で成形したプレートは、接合面にゆがみが生じ易くなる。そのため、プレートどうしを確実に溶着して、流体漏れのない流路を形成することが困難になるという問題があった。また、確実に溶着しようとすれば、プレートどうしを強固に圧着しながら溶着する必要があるなど、作業が複雑になるという問題があった。

本発明の目的は、積層した樹脂プレートを溶着して樹脂プレート間に流路を形成する際に、流路に流体漏れが生じないように確実に、かつ容易に溶着するようにした樹脂集積配管の製造方法を提供することにある。
上記目的を達成するため本発明の樹脂集積配管の製造方法は、2枚の樹脂プレートの少なくとも一方の樹脂プレートに溝部を設けるとともに、該溝部の外縁に沿って連続する金属配線を配置し、該金属配線を挟むように前記2枚の樹脂プレートを積層し、該金属配線を加熱して周囲の樹脂を溶融することにより、前記樹脂プレートどうしを溶着して、該樹脂プレート間に前記溝部からなる流路を形成した樹脂集積配管を製造し、この樹脂集積配管に埋設された状態になっている前記金属配線に、この樹脂集積配管に装着される外部装置の電気配線をつなぐことを特徴とするものである。
ここで、例えば、前記外部装置がセンサまたは電磁弁である。前記金属配線の加熱を通電によるジュール熱により行なうこともでき、高周波誘導加熱により行なうこともできる。前記金属配線の配置を前記樹脂プレートに予め固定することもできる。前記金属配線を導電パターンにより形成することもできる。
本発明の樹脂集積配管の製造方法によれば、溝部の外縁に沿うように配置した連続する金属配線を挟むように樹脂プレートを積層して加熱することで、積層した樹脂プレートの溝部に沿った樹脂を溶融させることができる。これにより、互いの樹脂プレートは、溝部により構成される流路に沿って、むら無く確実に溶着して、流体漏れのない流路を容易に形成することができる。この製造方法により、流路の流体漏れがない優れた品質の樹脂集積配管を得ることができる。
以下、本発明の樹脂集積配管の製造方法を図に示した実施形態に基づいて説明する。
図1に例示するように、本発明の製造方法により製造される第1実施形態の樹脂集積配管1は、2枚の樹脂プレート2、3で構成され、互いを積層して溶着することにより製造される。一方の樹脂プレート2には、溝部4a、4bが設けられ、溝部4a、4bの外縁に沿って連続する金属配線5a、5bが配置されている。
他方の樹脂プレート3には、後述するセンサ8c類を接続する外部装置取付け孔6と、一方の樹脂プレート2の金属配線5a、5bのそれぞれの端子E、Eに対応する位置に配線端子孔7a、7bが設けられている。
この2枚の樹脂プレート2、3を金属配線5a、5bを挟むように積層することにより、図2、3に示すように溝部4a、4bが覆われて、樹脂プレート2、3の間に溝部4a、4bにより構成される流路9a、9bが形成される。
外部装置取付け孔6は、形成後の流路9a、9bの上方に位置して、外部装置取付け孔6を通じて流路9a、9bと外部とが連通するように構成される。配線端子孔7a、7bは、それぞれの金属配線5a、5bの端子E、Eの上方に位置して、配線端子孔7a、7bを通じて端子E、Eが露出するように構成される。金属配線5a、5bの端子E、Eを配線端子孔7a、7bから外部へ突出させるように設けてもよい。
この金属配線5a、5bは、一方の樹脂プレート2の表面に予め固定してあるので、ずれることがなく、積層作業を迅速に行なうことができる。金属配線5a、5bは、樹脂プレート2に固設せずに分離して別個に設け、樹脂プレート2、3を積層する際に積層面に配置するようにしてもよい。
次いで、樹脂プレート2、3を積層した状態で金属配線5a、5bのそれぞれの端子E、Eに図示しない溶着装置の通電端子を接続して、金属配線5a、5bに通電させる。これにより、金属配線5a、5bはジュール熱を発生して加熱され、金属配線5a、5bの周囲の樹脂が溶融するため、積層した樹脂プレート2、3どうしが溶着する。
金属配線5a、5bは、溝部4a、4bの外縁に沿って連続配置されているため、互いの樹脂プレート2、3間を、形成される流路9a、9bに沿って、むら無く確実に溶着することができる。これにより、樹脂集積配管1の流路9a、9bを流体漏れのないように形成することが可能となり、優れた品質の樹脂集積配管1を得ることができる。
この溶着の際には、互いの樹脂プレート2、3を過度に圧着する必要がなく、また、それぞれの金属配線5a、5bは急速に全部分が加熱されるので、複雑な作業をすることなく溶着を行なうことができる。また、金属配線5a、5bの周辺の樹脂を局部的に溶融させるので、流路9a、9bに溶融した樹脂のバリがはみ出すトラブルを防止して溶着することが容易になる。
金属配線5a、5bのそれぞれの端子E、Eは、端子間で溶着むらが生じないように、互いの端子E、Eをオーバラップさせるように配置することが好ましい。溶着後に、必要に応じて配線端子孔7a、7bは溶融させる等によりシール処理をしておく。
完成した樹脂集積配管1には、図4、5に例示するように、それぞれの外部装置取付け孔6に、延設チューブ8a、8b、センサ8c、電磁弁8d等の必要な装置や部品が装着され、流路9a、9bに接続される。
樹脂プレート2、3に用いる樹脂としては、熱可塑性樹脂が用いられ、ポリエチレン、ポリプロピレン、ポリブテン、ポリメチルペンテン等のポリオレフィン、ナイロン6、ナイロン66、ナイロン610、ナイロン612、ナイロン11、ナイロン12、ナイロン46、芳香族ナイロン等のポリアミド、ポリテトラフルオロエチレン、トラフルオロエチレン-パーフルオロアルキルビニルエーテル共重合体、テトラフルオロエチレン-ヘキサフルオロプロピレン共重合体、テトラフルオロエチレン-エチレン共重合体、ポリビニリデンフルオライド、ポリクロロトリフルオロエチレン等のフッ素樹脂、ポリブチレンテレフタレート、ポリエチレンテレフタレート等のポリエステル、ポリ塩化ビニル、ポリアセタール、ポリフェニレンエーテル、ポリサルホン、ポリエーテルサルホン、ポリフェニレンサルファイド等を例示することができる。
流路9a、9bを流通する流体が強酸や強アルカリ等の腐食性流体の場合は、耐腐食性に優れたポリオレフィン、フッ素樹脂を用いるのが好ましい。また、純水や食料・飲料用途の流体の場合は、流路9a、9bを形成する素材成分の低溶出性が求められるので、ポリオレフィン、フッ素樹脂を用いるのが好ましい。
また、流路9a、9bの内圧等に対して機械的強度が不足する場合は、樹脂プレート2、3に用いる樹脂に樹脂補強材を混入して、強度を上げることもできる。この場合の樹脂補強材としては、ガラス繊維、カーボン繊維、アルミナ繊維、アラミド繊維、ボロン繊維、PBO(ポリ-p-フェニレンベンゾビスオキサゾール)繊維等の繊維状充填剤、カーボン、炭酸カルシウム、クレイ、シリカ等の粉末状充填剤、マイカ、タルク、黒鉛等の平板状充填剤、ガラスバルーン、シラスバルーン等の球状充填剤を例示することができる。耐熱性(高温時の剛性)が必要な場合は、上記の繊維状充填剤が好ましい。
樹脂プレート2、3は、射出成形、プレス成形、真空成形、圧空成形等の一般的な樹脂成形方法で製造することができる。外部装置取付け孔6や配線端子孔7a、7bは、樹脂プレート2、3成形時に一緒に形成することもでき、樹脂プレート2、3の成形後に形成することもできる。
樹脂プレート2、3はそれぞれ、単層の樹脂で成形することもできるが、複層構造として、異なる種類の樹脂、発泡した樹脂などを積層した構造としてもよい。
金属配線5a、5bとしては、銅、銅合金、アルミニウム、アルミニウム合金、ステンレス鋼、鉄鋼、ニッケルクロム合金等の線材を用いることができる。それぞれの金属配線5a、5bの端子E、Eの間の電気抵抗値は、例えば、0.5Ω〜1kΩ程度にすることで、電力1kW以下の汎用の電源装置を用いて溶着を行なうことができる。
金属配線5a、5bは、プリント基板の回路パターンを製造するように、銅箔等を樹脂プレート2に貼付けた後、所定のパターンになるようにマスキングをしてエッチングを行なうことにより、またはフォトレジスト等の既存の方法により、導電パターンとして樹脂プレート2に形成することもできる。このように導電パターンとして形成することにより、ばらつきのない同一の金属配線5a、5bを短時間で大量に形成することができる。
この樹脂集積配管1には、樹脂プレート2、3を溶着するために使用した金属配線5a、5bが埋設された状態となっているので、本発明では、外部の電気、電子装置の電気配線を配線端子孔7a、7bにつなぐことにより、この金属配線5a、5bを、接続した外部装置の電気配線の一部として使用することもでき、センサ8c、電磁弁8d等の装置や部品と外部との接続線として使用することもできる。その際には、金属配線5a、5bが過度に加熱しないような電流で作動する外部装置を接続する。
また、図8に示すように溝部4a、4bの外縁とは無関係な独立した金属配線5cを埋設するようにして配線端子孔7cを設け、配線端子孔7cに外部の電気配線Lをつないで、この金属配線5cをセンサ8c、電磁弁8d等の装置や部品と外部との接続線とすることもできる。
尚、上記の実施形態に示したように、溝部4a、4b毎に金属配線5a、5bを配置するのではなく、図6に例示するように、すべての溝部4a、4bに連続するような1つの金属配線5cを配置するようにしてもよい。このように構成することにより、配線端子孔7aの数を減らすことができ、溶着作業をより簡素化することができる。
図7に樹脂集積配管1の第2実施形態を例示する。この樹脂集積配管1の他方の樹脂プレート3には、第1実施形態と異なり、配線端子孔7a、7bを設けていない。この樹脂集積配管1を製造するには、樹脂プレート2、3を積層した後、外側から金属配線5a、5bに近づけた高周波誘導コイルに交流電流を流して、高周波誘導加熱により金属配線5a、5bを加熱し、この加熱により互いの樹脂プレート2、3を溶着する。
このように、一般的な高周波誘導加熱を利用することにより、配線端子孔7a、7bを不要にして樹脂プレート2、3どうしを溶着することができる。
なお、本発明の樹脂集積配管1は、燃料電池に用いる配管の他に、金属に対して腐食など化学的影響を大きく与える流体を流通させる化学プラント、食品製造ライン、半導体製造ライン等に使用される各種装置、機器の配管として用いることができる。

Claims (6)

  1. 2枚の樹脂プレートの少なくとも一方の樹脂プレートに溝部を設けるとともに、該溝部の外縁に沿って連続する金属配線を配置し、該金属配線を挟むように前記2枚の樹脂プレートを積層し、該金属配線を加熱して周囲の樹脂を溶融することにより、前記樹脂プレートどうしを溶着して、該樹脂プレート間に前記溝部からなる流路を形成した樹脂集積配管を製造し、この樹脂集積配管に埋設された状態になっている前記金属配線に、この樹脂集積配管に装着される外部装置の電気配線をつなぐ樹脂集積配管の製造方法。
  2. 前記外部装置がセンサまたは電磁弁である請求項1に記載の樹脂集積配管の製造方法。
  3. 前記金属配線の加熱を通電によるジュール熱により行なう請求項1または2に記載の樹脂集積配管の製造方法。
  4. 前記金属配線の加熱を高周波誘導加熱により行なう請求項1または2に記載の樹脂集積配管の製造方法。
  5. 前記金属配線の配置を前記樹脂プレートに予め固定する請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の樹脂集積配管の製造方法。
  6. 前記金属配線を導電パターンにより形成した請求項5に記載の樹脂集積配管の製造方法。
