Description
Claims (6)
- 電子的なリターンレス式燃料システムのための燃料ポンプモジュールであって、
燃料ポンプモジュールリザーバと、
前記リザーバ内に配置された燃料ポンプと、
燃料ポンプの燃料出口と、
前記燃料ポンプの燃料出口からの燃料をフィルタリングする燃料フィルタと、
前記燃料フィルタの近傍に取り付けられた燃料放出ハウジングと、を備え、
前記燃料放出ハウジングは、エンジンに燃料を送出するハウジング燃料出口と、前記リザーバに燃料を放出するハウジング燃料ブリードオリフィスとを有し、当該ハウジング燃料ブリードオリフィスは、前記燃料放出ハウジングに設けられたノズルに形成され、
さらに、前記ハウジング燃料ブリードオリフィスからの燃料を受ける燃料だめを備え、
前記燃料だめは、前記ハウジング燃料ブリードオリフィスの直下に位置するように、前記リザーバの底面に一体的に形成された燃料だめ仕切壁を有し、前記ノズルが当該燃料だめの内部にまで突出しており、
また、さらに、前記ハウジング燃料ブリードオリフィスよりも下流に配置された圧力逆止弁を備えることを特徴とする燃料ポンプモジュール。 - 前記圧力逆止弁は、前記燃料放出ハウジングに隣接し、当該燃料放出ハウジングの直後に配置されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の燃料ポンプモジュール。
- 燃料ポンプモジュールフランジと、
前記ハウジング燃料出口と前記燃料ポンプモジュールフランジとの間に配置された燃料管と、をさらに備え、
前記圧力逆止弁は、前記燃料管に設けられることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の燃料ポンプモジュール。 - 前記圧力逆止弁は、前記燃料ポンプが燃料を送り出しているときに開弁し、前記燃料ポンプが燃料を送り出していないときに閉弁することを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項3のいずれかに記載の燃料ポンプモジュール。
- 前記燃料ポンプモジュールは、燃料タンク内に置かれるものであり、
前記圧力逆止弁よりも下流の前記燃料管に配置され、前記燃料タンクに燃料を放出する圧力解放弁をさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の燃料ポンプモジュール。 - 前記燃料ポンプモジュールフランジに配置され、前記燃料タンクに燃料を放出する圧力解放弁をさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の燃料ポンプモジュール。
