図1は、本発明の第1の実施の形態に係る過給装置の概略構成を示す断面図であり、本発明を車両用内燃機関に装備されるターボチャージャに適用した場合を例示している。
図2は、本発明の第2の実施の形態に係る過給装置の概略構成を示す断面図であり、本発明を車両用内燃機関に装備されるターボチャージャに適用した場合を例示している。なお、以下に説明する各実施形態は、上述の第1実施形態に対して全体構成がほぼ同様で、壁面形成部材の構成だけが相違するものであるので、同一の構成については図1中の対応する構成要素と同様の符号で示し、相違点について詳述する。
図3は、本発明の第3の実施の形態に係る過給装置の概略構成を示す断面図であり、本発明を車両用内燃機関に装備されるターボチャージャに適用した場合を例示している。

Claims (5)
- 排気エネルギを利用して回転駆動される回転軸と、回転軸を回転自在に支持するセンターハウジングと、前記回転軸に支持され前記回転軸と一体に回転するコンプレッサホイールと、前記センターハウジングに連結されて前記コンプレッサホイールを収納するとともに、前記コンプレッサホイールの周りにディフューザ部を有する吸気通路を形成するコンプレッサハウジングと、を備えた過給装置において、
前記吸気通路は、上流側から前記ディフューザ部に向かって放射外方へ湾曲させられており、
前記センターハウジングおよび前記コンプレッサハウジングのうち少なくとも一方のハウジングが、前記コンプレッサホイールの周りで前記ディフューザ部の前記センターハウジング側の壁面を形成する環状の壁面形成部材と、該壁面形成部材を支持する本体部とからなり、
前記壁面形成部材が、前記本体部の素材からなる壁面部分に比べて前記ディフューザ部の壁面に付着したオイル成分を高分子化させる反応の活性化エネルギが大きくなる壁面を形成する表層部と、前記本体部より熱伝導率の大きい基層部とによって構成されていることを特徴とする過給装置。 - 前記壁面形成部材が、前記センターハウジング側の壁面を形成する金属製の板状体であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の過給装置。
- 前記壁面形成部材が、前記センターハウジング側の壁面を形成するよう前記本体部に固着された金属製の膜状体で構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1または請求項2に記載の過給装置。
- 前記壁面形成部材が、前記活性化エネルギが大きくなる壁面を形成する銅めっき表面を有することを特徴とする請求項1ないし請求項3のうちいずれか1の請求項に記載の過給装置。
- 前記基層部は、前記表層部より熱伝導率が大きいことを特徴とする請求項1ないし請求項4のうちいずれか1の請求項に記載の過給装置。
