Description
以上概説したように、本発明における実施例は液体取扱装置を含み、この液体取扱装置は様々な実施例において液体の分析物濃度を決定するために採用されるものである。本発明の液体取扱装置の実施例は以下に述べるように、ある対象、例えば間質液など、から抽出した生理学的な液体を、この装置内にある分析物(グルコース)監視センサーへ送出する、制御された移送を提供するものである。
最終的には新しいキットも提供される。キットの実施例は、1つ以上の本発明の対象となる装置を含み、ローカルコントローラーモジュールと予め組み合わせておいても組み合わせなくともよい。従って、ある実施例では、本発明の装置と共に使用するための1つ以上のコントローラーモジュールを含み、装置とローカルコントローラーモジュールは組み合わされていても、後にユーザーが組み合わせるように分離させておいてもよい。実施例はまた、1つ以上のリモートコントローラーモジュールを備える。

Claims (10)
- 液体中の分析物の濃度を測定する装置であって、
皮膚穿孔部と、
少なくとも1つの分析物センサー室と、
可撓膜を持つポンプ室と、を備え、
前記ポンプ室は、前記ポンプ室に採取された所与の容量の液体を、前記可撓膜の撓みによって、前記皮膚穿孔部から前記少なくとも1つの分析物センサー室に移送することができ、
前記可撓膜が弾性の第1の基材の一部であり、前記装置が前記第1の基材より堅い第2の基材および前記第1の基材より堅い第3の基材を更に備え、前記第1の基材が前記第2基材および前記第3の基材の間に存在し、上方に位置する前記第2の基材および下方に位置する前記第3の基材により前記第1の基材を圧迫しており、前記可撓膜は前記ポンプ室の上部を形成し、前記第2の基材は前記可撓膜の上方に位置するアクセススロットを有する、装置。 - 前記装置が、前記皮膚穿孔部と連通する液体注入室を更に備えた、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記液体注入室が前記ポンプ室と連通する、請求項2に記載の装置。
- 前記少なくとも1つのセンサー室が電気化学セルである、請求項1、2及び3のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記少なくとも1つのセンサー室が光学的センサー室である、請求項1、2及び3のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記センサー室が分析物の濃度を測定することができる、請求項1から5のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 液体中の分析物の濃度を測定するシステムであって、
請求項1に記載の装置と、
前記装置を収容するためのハウジングとを備えた、システム。 - リモートコントローラーを更に備えた、請求項7に記載のシステム。
- 前記システムが、前記装置から前記リモートコントローラーへ、分析物の測定結果を通信することができる、請求項8に記載のシステム。
