Description
Gd 2 O 3 などの酸化ガドリニウム(GdO x )は、それ自体ですぐれた造影効果を示す上、酸化物であるので安定性があり、さらに耐水性、耐酸性及び低毒性の要求も満足する。酸化ガドリニウムを造影剤として使用する場合、粒径は0.3〜20nm程度とすることが好ましい。
室温下、アルゴンガス雰囲気、101kPaの圧力のチャンバー内でグラファイト原料にCO2レーザーを照射し、グラファイト原料を蒸発させ、ダリア状のカーボンナノホーン集合体を作製した。各カーボンナノホーンは単層であった。
実施例1と同様にしてダリア状のカーボンナノホーン集合体を作製した。
実施例1で得られたカーボンナノホーン集合体を寒天に溶かしてチューリップと桜の型および「2004」という文字型のゲルを作り、それをカーボンナノホーン集合体を含まない寒天ゲルに埋め込んだものを作製し、MRIで撮像した。そのT2強調写真像を図6に示す。
Claims (4)
- カーボンナノホーン集合体よりなることを特徴とする造影剤。
- 前記カーボンナノホーン集合体を構成する個々のカーボンナノホーンのうち少なくとも一部がその側壁又は先端に開口部を有していることを特徴とする請求項1記載の造影剤。
- Gd又はFeの金属酸化物が内包され、あるいはカーボンナノホーン表面上にGd又はFeの金属酸化物が分散されていることを特徴とする請求項2記載の造影剤。
- 前記Gd又はFeの金属酸化物の平均粒子径が0.3〜100nmであることを特徴とする請求項3記載の造影剤。
