Claims (1)
- リチウムイオン電池に対する充電電流を常時、所定の電流値以下の電流に制限することを特徴とするリチウムイオン電池の充電方法において、
前記リチウムイオン電池は、電極間に設けたセパレータを介してリチウムイオンが行き来し、温度が上昇するに従って、前記セパレータの穴が塞がってインピーダンスが増加し、前記セパレータが破断するまでインピーダンスが一定値になり、前記セパレータが破断するとインピーダンスが下降傾向に転じる特性を有するものであり、
前記リチウムイオン電池のインピーダンスが前記一定値から前記下降傾向に転じる温度をインピーダンス下降点温度とするとき、
前記所定の電流値は、該所定の電流値に基づく電流を前記リチウムイオン電池に供給したときに該リチウムイオン電池の温度が前記インピーダンス下降点温度以上に達しないような値に設定されていることを特徴とするリチウムイオン電池の充電方法。
