Description
図1、2は、本実施形態の高炉炉壁構造の羽口から朝顔にかけての部分を示す図である。朝顔の上部領域において、鉄皮1の内側に、キャスタブル2を介して銅ステーブ3が設置される。銅ステーブ3は、上方に向かうにしたがって拡径する適宜な角度を持つ。銅ステーブ3は、炉内側表面に帯状の煉瓦部3aを有し、鉄皮1の外側に設けられた冷却水供給装置(不図示)から流入する冷却水によって冷却されるものである。

Claims (2)
- 朝顔の上部領域に配設されたステーブと、
羽口より上で朝顔の下部領域に積み重ねられた耐火煉瓦と複数段に配設された冷却盤とを備えた高炉の操業方法であって、
セルフコーティング層が形成された状態で、前記羽口の炉内への突出長さを長くする場合に、前記各冷却盤をいったん引き抜き、前記セルフコーティング層の炉内側表面に穴あけを行った後、前記各冷却盤の挿入深度を深くすることを特徴とする高炉の操業方法。 - 前記羽口の突出し長さを基にして前記各冷却盤の炉内への挿入深度を調整して、新たに形成されるセルフコーティング層の下端が前記羽口の先端に合うようにして、該セルフコーティング層に沿って落下する塊状物による羽口の曲損を防止するようにさせることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の高炉の操業方法。
