Description
図1に示されるロータリーカッター1は、その周辺面2に個々のナイフ4を備え、その切刃5は、ロータリーカッター1の軸に対して放射状方向に延在し、こうして、たとえばUS−PS3,196,487に示されるようにダイプレート(図示せず)に接触する。この場合、ロータリーカッター1がナイフ4とともに回転すると、押出成形されたプラスチックのストランドが上述の態様でペレット化される。ナイフ4は、ねじ12の形をした締結要素によってロータリーカッター1に交換可能に締結される(たとえば図4を参照)。図1から明らかであるように、ねじ12は、ロータリーカッター1の端面3から容易にアクセス可能であり、個々のナイフ4の間の中間空間における流れを妨げ得ない。

Claims (7)
- プラスチック押出物をペレット化するためのロータリーカッター(1)であって、前記ロータリーカッター(1)は、その端面から軸方向に離れるように突き出た複数のナイフ(4)を備え、前記複数のナイフ(4)は、締結要素(12)によってロータリーカッター(1)の支持面に個々に取付けられ、
ロータリーカッター(1)の周辺面(2)には複数の放射状の溝(7)が設けられ、前記複数のナイフ(4)は各々、突出部分(6)がフックのような態様で前記放射状の溝(7)に挿入され、
前記支持面は、ロータリーカッター(1)の周辺面(2)における放射状の溝(7)の側壁(8,9)と、放射状の溝(7)を制限する放射状の横壁(10,11)とによって形成され、
前記複数のナイフ(4)の各々の突出部分(6)の1つの側部が、締結要素(12)と当接する受け面(18)を形成し、前記締結要素(12)が、放射状の横壁(11)を貫通して前記受け面(18)を押すことを特徴とする、ロータリーカッター(1)。 - ナイフエッジ(5)に面する突出部分(6)の側部は、ねじ(12)の形状であり突出部分(6)を押す締結要素が、突出部分(6)をロータリーカッター(1)に引込むような力成分を与えるような角度で放射状方向に延在することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のロータリーカッター。
- 突出部分がノッチ(14)を備え、前記ノッチ(14)は、締結要素(15)の対応する形状の端面によって係合され、前記締結要素(15)がねじの形状であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のロータリーカッター。
- ねじ(12,15,16)の各々の頭部は、回転工具を受けるための窪みを備え、ロータリーカッター(1)における窪みにおいて皿穴に埋められていることを特徴とする、請求項2または3に記載のロータリーカッター。
- 締結要素が、放射状の溝において突出部分(21)を妨害するための楔部分であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のロータリーカッター。
- 締結要素(12)が、ナイフエッジ(5)に面する側からロータリーカッター(1)に貫通することを特徴とする、請求項1から5のいずれかに記載のロータリーカッター。
- 締結要素(16)が、ナイフエッジ(5)とは反対側からロータリーカッター(1)に貫通することを特徴とする、請求項1から5のいずれかに記載のロータリーカッター。
