Description
赤リンを所定量秤量して樹脂中に均一混合し赤リン含有コンパウンドを作成する工程、
前記赤リン含有コンパウンドを粉砕し、5μm以上の最大径を有する粒子数を、1μm以上5μm未満の最大径を有する粒子数の1/20以下とする工程、及び
粉砕された赤リン含有コンパウンドを0.05〜10mg秤量して標準試料とする工程
を有することを特徴とする樹脂中の赤リン定量用標準試料の製造方法を提供する。
請求項1ないし請求項3のいずれか1項に記載の樹脂中の赤リン定量用標準試料の製造方法により、赤リンの含有量を変えた複数の標準試料を製造する工程、
得られた標準試料を熱分解してガス化しガスクロマトグラフィーにより各分画に分離し、赤リンに相当する保持時間の分画について得られたピーク面積値を試料重量で除してピーク強度比を得る工程、
得られたピーク強度比と赤リンの含有量との関係を表す検量線を作成する工程、
測定対象資料を熱分解してガス化しガスクロマトグラフィーにより各分画に分離し、赤リンに該当する分画についてのピーク強度比Aを得る工程、及び
前記検量線より、前記ピーク強度比Aに対応する赤リンの含有量を得る工程
からなることを特徴とする樹脂中の赤リンの定量方法(請求項4)である。
赤リンとしては関東化学社製の試薬を用いた。この赤リンを、エチレン−エチルアクリレート共重合体(EEA、商品名:エバフレックスA701)に、赤リン含有量が、100、250、500又は1000ppmとなるように加え、それぞれ、ロール混合機を用いて200℃で5分間混合し、赤リン含有量が異なる4つの赤リン含有コンパウンドを作製した。
得られた赤リン含有コンパウンドを、多検体精密試料粉砕機(商品名:マルチビーズショッカー、安井器械社製)を用いて微細粉砕した。具体的には、得られた4つの赤リン含有コンパウンドのそれぞれについて1gを40mlのチタン製粉砕容器に入れ、液体窒素条件下、振動数3000rpmで、60秒粉砕した。その結果、5μm以上の最大径を有する粒子数が、1μm以上5μm未満の最大径を有する粒子数の1/20以下である粉砕物が得られた。その粉砕物のSEM写真を図2に示す。
このようにして得られた粉砕物を約0.5mg秤量し、それぞれの試料を、以下に示す熱分解装置、熱分解条件により熱分解(ガス化)し、ガス化した試料を、以下に示すガスクロマトグラフ/マススペクトロメトリー(GC/MS装置)により測定し、保持時間4.2分の位置のピークについてのピーク面積値を求め、ピーク面積値/測定試料重量(以下「ピーク強度比」と言う。)を計算した。なお、この条件で測定したガスクロマトグラフの保持時間4.2分のピークについて質量分析(MS)測定をしたところm/z=62、93及び124の位置にピークが得られたので、保持時間4.2分のピークは、赤リンのピークであると同定した。又、赤リン単体について同じ条件で熱分解GCMS測定を行ったところそのピークは、保持時間4.2分であった。
フロンティアラボ社製を用いた。熱分解条件は、600℃×0.2分である。
アジレント社製:Agilent6890を用いた。本装置の運転条件を以下に示す。
カラム:HP−5MS(内径:0.25mm、膜厚:0.25μm、長さ:30m)
カラム流量:Heガス 1.0ml/分
昇温条件:50℃から320℃まで25℃/分で昇温し、320℃で5分間維持
MS温度:230℃(MS Source)、150℃(MS Quad)
インターフェイス温度:280℃
測定モード:SCANモード
なお、質量分析(MS)の測定は、酸素のピークを避けるため、m/z=33〜550の範囲で行った。
赤リン含有コンパウンドの微細粉砕を行った粉砕物を用いる代わりに、赤リン含有コンパウンドを従来型粉砕機にて粉砕した粉砕物を用いた以外は、実施例と同様にして熱分解GCMS測定を行った。その粉砕物のSEM像を図3に示す。又、それぞれの試料について3回測定を行った結果を表2に示す。
赤リン含有コンパウンドの代わりに、試料量約0.1mgの赤リン試薬単体を用い、熱分解GCMS測定を行った。3回測定を行った結果を表3に示す。
Claims (4)
- 赤リンを所定量秤量して樹脂中に均一混合し赤リン含有コンパウンドを作成する工程、
前記赤リン含有コンパウンドを粉砕し、5μm以上の最大径を有する粒子数を、1μm以上5μm未満の最大径を有する粒子数の1/20以下とする工程、及び
粉砕された赤リン含有コンパウンドを0.05〜10mg秤量して標準試料とする工程
を有することを特徴とする樹脂中の赤リン定量用標準試料の製造方法。 - 前記標準試料とする工程において、粉砕された赤リン含有コンパウンドを0.1〜0.5mg秤量することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の樹脂中の赤リン定量用標準試料の製造方法。
- 前記赤リン含有コンパウンドの粉砕が、前記コンパウンドに打撃及び剪断力を加えて行われることを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2に記載の樹脂中の赤リン定量用標準試料の製造方法。
- 請求項1ないし請求項3のいずれか1項に記載の樹脂中の赤リン定量用標準試料の製造方法により、赤リンの含有量を変えた複数の標準試料を製造する工程、
得られた標準試料を熱分解してガス化しガスクロマトグラフィーにより各分画に分離し、赤リンに相当する保持時間の分画について得られたピーク面積値を試料重量で除してピーク強度比を得る工程、
