Claims (8)
- 無線通信システムにおいてアクセス端末(AT)とアクセスネットワーク(AN)との間のバッテリ電力保存手続きを実行する方法であって、
残余バッテリ寿命インジケータフィールド(LeftoverBatteryLifeIndicator field)が含まれるか否かを示す残余バッテリインジケータ包含フィールド(LeftOverBatteryIndicatorIncluded field)、前記ATの残余バッテリ電力の量を示す前記残余バッテリ寿命インジケータフィールド、第1電力節減モードフィールド(PowerSavingMode field)が含まれるか否かを示す第1電力節減モード包含フィールド(PowerSavingModeIncluded field)、及び前記ATに好まれる電力節減モード及び要求される電力節減モードのうち一つを示す前記第1電力節減モードフィールドを含む通知メッセージを前記ANに送信するステップと、
第2電力節減モードフィールド(PowerSavingMode field)を含むか否かを示す第2電力節減モード包含フィールド(PowerSavingModeIncluded field)及び前記第2電力節減モードフィールドを含む確認メッセージを受信するステップと、
前記ATは、前記第2電力節減モードフィールドに応じて電力節減モードへ入るステップと、を含み、
前記第2電力節減モードフィールドは、前記残余バッテリ寿命インジケータフィールド及び前記第1電力節減モードフィールドのうち少なくとも一つに基づいて前記ANで決定される、バッテリ電力保存手続きの実行方法。 - 前記残余バッテリ寿命インジケータフィールドは、サービス品質(QoS)の微調整に用いられる、請求項1に記載のバッテリ電力保存手続きの実行方法。
- 前記残余バッテリインジケータ包含フィールド及び前記電力節減モード包含フィールドのそれぞれは、1ビットで表わされることを特徴とする、請求項2に記載のバッテリ電力保存手続きの実行方法。
- 前記第1電力節減モードフィールドは、要請されたページングサイクル、クイックページングサイクルの使用、アクセス端末(AT)に好まれる不連続送信/受信モード、不連続送信及び不連続受信、及びエンハンスド休止モードに関連する情報を含む、請求項3に記載のバッテリ電力保存手続きの実行方法。
- 前記第1電力節減モードフィールドは、緊急待機モードから正規モードへの切り替え又は前記正規モードから前記緊急待機モードへの切り替えに対する要請を含む、請求項3に記載のバッテリ電力保存手続きの実行方法。
- 前記緊急待機モードから前記正規モードへの切り替え要請は、前記ATが前記ANに転送するデータがあるときに発生する、請求項5に記載のバッテリ電力保存手続きの実行方法。
- 前記第2電力節減モード包含フィールドは、1ビットで表わされる、請求項3に記載のバッテリ電力保存手続きの実行方法。
- 前記第2電力節減モードフィールドは、要請されたページングサイクル、クイックページングサイクルの使用、前記残余バッテリ寿命インジケータフィールド、電力節減モード要請、及び前記ATに関連する順方向リンクバックログに関する情報のうち少なくとも一つに基づいて前記ANにより決定された不連続送信/受信に関連する情報を含む、請求項3に記載のバッテリ電力保存手続きの実行方法。
