Claims (4)
- プログラム制御の電子制御装置からの指令に応じて複数の気筒のうち一つまたは複数の気筒を休止させることができる内燃機関の気筒の休止状態を判定する装置であって、
前記内燃機関への吸入空気量に応じた信号を出力する検出手段を備え、
前記電子制御装置は、
前記検出手段からの信号を複数の基本周波数についてフーリエ変換するフーリエ変換手段であって、当該複数の基本周波数は、前記内燃機関の1サイクル分のクランク角の720度に対応する第1の基本周波数と、当該ランク角の360度に対応する第2の基本周波数と、当該ランク角の240度に対応する第3の基本周波数と、を含むフーリエ変換手段と、
前記複数の基本周波数の各々について前記フーリエ変換手段から得られるスペクトルと前記内燃機関の気筒休止状態との間の予め求められた関係に基づいて、当該スペクトル毎に気筒休止状態の判定を行うための閾値を提供する閾値提供手段と、を備え、
前記フーリエ変換手段から得られるスペクトルの各々について、対応する前記閾値を超えたか否かで気筒の休止状態を判定するよう構成されている、
内燃機関の気筒の休止状態を判定する装置。 - 前記閾値は、前記内燃機関の回転数および負荷の一方または両方に応じて提供される、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記フーリエ変換で得られる位相情報に基づいて休止している気筒を特定するよう構成した、請求項2に記載の装置。
- 判定された前記気筒の休止状態が、電子制御装置の指令と一致しているかどうかを判定し、判定が正常であるときには、気筒休止機構を油圧作動させるための油圧回路内に設置された油圧検出手段の異常判定を行う、請求項1に記載の装置。
