Description
パルスレーザ放射線の使用は、最近では、特に眼科における視覚欠陥のレーザ手術矯正には確立された常套手段となっている。目の視覚欠陥は、角膜およびレンズの屈折特性により網膜上に光学的合焦がなされないという事実によって生ずる場合が多い。
図1は、患者の目1の処置のためのレーザ手術器械を示す。レーザ手術器械2は、屈折率補正を行うように作用する。この目的のために、器械2は処置ビーム3を患者1の目に向けて出射する。患者1の頭は、頭保持部内に固定されている。レーザ手術器械2は、パルスレーザビーム3を生成することができ、米国特許第6110166号に記載されている方法を実行することを可能にする。レーザビームは、10および500kHzの間のパルス周波数を有するfsレーザパルスから成る。例示の実施形態では、器械2の構成部品は、一体化制御ユニットによって制御される。
この変形は、光学的突破を生成しようとしない、選択したレーザパルスを、処置レーザビームから完全に除去できるという利点がある。しかしながら、偏向プロセスにおいて、他のレーザパルスも何らかの変化を受け、その物質処置に対する適格性が減少する虞れがある。これらの変化は、本質的に、極短レーザパルスの高スペクトル帯域幅に関係し、多くの場合あまり手間をかけずに補償することができる。
Claims (6)
- パルスレーザ放射線と物質との非線形相互作用により前記物質を処置する物質処置用レーザ装置であって、
パルスレーザ放射線(3)を供給するレーザ放射線源(S)と、光切除または光破断を生成するために前記レーザ放射線(3)を複数の異なる選択可能な場所にある物質(5)内の焦点に合焦させる可変偏向デバイス(10)及び対物レンズ(6)とを備え、
前記レーザ放射線源によって供給されるパルスレーザ放射線は、前記物質の所定の閾値であってそれよりも上でしか前記物質に光切除または光破断を生成しない値である前記所定の閾値を上回る出力密度を前記焦点にもたらすものであり、
供給されるパルスレーザ放射線(3)のうちの一部のレーザパルス(SP)を選択レーザパルスとして選択し、前記選択レーザパルス(SP)については前記焦点における出力密度が前記所定の閾値を下回るように、少なくとも1つの光学パラメータに関して前記選択レーザパルス(SP)を変化させることにより、前記選択レーザパルス(SP)が前記物質に光切除または光破断を生成しないようにするパルス選択デバイス(15)を特徴とする物質処置用レーザ装置。 - 前記パルス選択デバイス(15)は選択周波数に応じて時間的に等間隔にある不連続レーザパルスを変化させることを特徴とする請求項1記載のレーザ装置。
- 前記パルス選択デバイス(15)は、位相、振幅、偏光、伝搬方向、またはビーム形状からなるパラメータの内少なくとも1つに関して、前記選択レーザパルスを変化させることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載のレーザ装置。
- 前記パルス選択デバイス(15)は、音/光変調器(23)、ポッケルスセル、光ファイバスイッチング素子、およびチョッパホイールのうちの少なくとも一つを備えることを特徴とする請求項1乃至3のうちのいずれか1項に記載のレーザ装置。
- 前記パルス選択デバイス(15)および前記偏向デバイス(10)を同期して制御する制御デバイス(18)を特徴とする請求項1乃至4のうちのいずれか1項に記載のレーザ装置。
- 前記制御デバイス(18)は、所定の経路に沿って前記光切除または光破断を生成するように、制御信号により前記パルス選択デバイス(15)および前記偏向デバイス(10)を制御し、前記偏向デバイス(10)の実際の偏向速度が最大偏向速度に接近した場合、前記制御デバイス(18)は、制御信号により前記パルス選択デバイス(15)の選択周波数を高めるとともに、これに応じて前記実際の偏向速度を低下させることを特徴とする請求項5に記載のレーザ装置。
