Claims (20)
- 水分凝縮器として使われる熱交換器と前記熱交換器を冷却するための換気ユニットとを備える燃料電池システム用の熱交換器結合体において、
前記熱交換器は、流入口を有する流入マニフォールドと、排出口を有する排出マニフォールドと、前記流入マニフォールドの流入口と前記排出マニフォールドの排出口との間に位置して、前記流入マニフォールドと前記排出マニフォールドとを連結する熱交換要素と、を備え、
前記換気ユニットによる冷気の方向と前記熱交換要素内で移動する媒介物の流動方向とが互いに反対であり、
前記媒介物は、燃料電池システムの燃料スタックの反応空気であり、
前記熱交換要素は、複数個の曲がったチューブが平行に配置された構造であることを特徴とする、熱交換器結合体。 - 前記換気ユニットは、前記熱交換器の一側に配置されることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の熱交換器結合体。
- 前記換気ユニットは、換気手段とハウジングとを備えることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の熱交換器結合体。
- 前記熱交換要素の各曲がったチューブは、一方向に延びた第1部分と、隣接した第1部分の端部を連結する第2部分とを備えることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の熱交換器結合体。
- 前記複数の曲がったチューブは、前記一方向に垂直な他方向に平行に配置されたことを特徴とする、請求項4に記載の熱交換器結合体。
- 前記第1部分の断面は、前記冷気の流れに平行な主軸と、前記冷気の流れに垂直の第2軸とを有し、前記主軸が前記第2軸より長いことを特徴とする、請求項4に記載の熱交換器結合体。
- 熱交換要素の第2部分は、U字形のチューブ状構造を備えることを特徴とする、請求項4に記載の熱交換器結合体。
- U字形のチューブ状構造は、互いに直角に配列された直線部分からなることを特徴とする、請求項7に記載の熱交換器結合体。
- 熱交換要素の第2部分は、直線のチューブ状構造を備えることを特徴とする、請求項4に記載の熱交換器結合体。
- 熱交換器要素の前記第1部分と前記第2部分とは、直角をなすことを特徴とする、請求項4に記載の熱交換器結合体。
- 第1部分の中間軸と第2部分の中間軸とは、互いに直角に交差することを特徴とする、請求項4に記載の熱交換器結合体。
- 熱交換要素の前記第2部分の断面は、楕円形を有することを特徴とする、請求項4に記載の熱交換器結合体。
- 前記熱交換器は、y方向に延びる幅と、x方向に延びる深さと、z方向に延びる高さとを有し、前記換気手段の一幅または直径は、前記熱交換器の深さと高さとのいずれか小さな値の少なくとも66%に対応する値を有することを特徴とする、請求項3に記載の熱交換器結合体。
- 前記換気手段の一幅または直径は、前記熱交換器の深さと高さとのいずれか小さな値の少なくとも80%、望ましくは90%、最も望ましくは95%に対応する値を有することを特徴とする、請求項13に記載の熱交換器結合体。
- 前記排出マニフォールドは、熱交換器を通じて流れる媒介物から凝縮された水分を分離させるための水分分離器から形成されて、熱交換要素の排出口の端部と直接接することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の熱交換器結合体。
- 前記換気ユニットは、熱交換器を中心として熱交換要素内の媒介物の流れ方向側として定義される熱交換器の下流側上に配列され、交換器の下流側から上流側に送風するためのファンまたは送風機を備えることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の熱交換器結合体。
- 前記換気ユニットは、熱交換器を中心として熱交換要素内の媒介物の流れ方向の逆方向側として定義される熱交換器の上流側上に配列され、交換器の下流側から上流側に送風するためのファンまたは送風機を備えることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の熱交換器結合体。
- 熱交換要素は、チューブ状構造を有することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の熱交換器結合体。
- 換気手段は、ファンまたは送風機を備えることを特徴とする、請求項3に記載の熱交換器結合体。
- 前記熱交換器の流入口は、燃料電池システムの燃料スタックのカソード排出口に連結されることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の熱交換器結合体。
