Claims (4)
- エンジンを、常時は拡散燃焼させるよう、かつエンジン低負荷時は、拡散燃焼から予混合燃焼に切り替えるようにしたエンジン制御方法であって、
上記エンジンを上記拡散燃焼から上記予混合燃焼に切り替えるに際して、
上記エンジンの吸気中の酸素濃度を求めると共に、
その求められた酸素濃度が、予め設定されたNOx発生酸素濃度閾値を超えるときは、上記拡散燃焼から上記予混合燃焼の燃料噴射形態への切替を中止しておき、その後、求められた酸素濃度が上記NOx発生酸素濃度閾値以下になったときに、上記予混合燃焼に切り替えるエンジン制御方法において、
上記エンジンがモータリング状態からアイドル状態に移行するときに、そのエンジンを上記予混合燃焼に切り替えることを特徴とするエンジン制御方法。 - 上記NOx発生酸素濃度閾値が、上記エンジンの回転数および燃料噴射量に応じて、各々設定された請求項1記載のエンジン制御方法。
- 上記エンジンの排気の一部を吸気中に環流する排気環流を、少なくとも上記予混合燃焼時に行うと共に、その予混合燃焼時の予混合目標排気環流率を、上記拡散燃焼時の拡散目標排気環流率よりも高く設定し、
上記エンジンを上記拡散燃焼から上記予混合燃焼に切り替えるに際して、
上記予混合燃焼への切替前に、上記予混合目標排気環流率で排気環流を行って、上記エンジンの吸気中の酸素濃度を低下させる請求項1または2記載のエンジン制御方法。 - エンジンを、常時は拡散燃焼させるよう、かつエンジン低負荷時は、拡散燃焼から予混合燃焼に切り替えるようにしたエンジン制御システムであって、
上記エンジンの負荷を測定するための負荷測定手段と、
上記エンジンを、上記拡散燃焼と上記予混合燃焼とで切り替えて燃焼制御するための燃焼制御手段と、
上記エンジンの吸気中に含まれる酸素濃度を測定するための酸素濃度測定手段とを備え、
上記燃焼制御手段は、
上記負荷測定手段で測定されたエンジン負荷が所定の切替負荷以下で、かつ上記酸素濃度検出手段で検出された酸素濃度が所定のNOx発生酸素濃度閾値以下のときに、上記エンジンを予混合燃焼に切り替えるエンジン制御システムにおいて、
上記燃焼制御手段は、上記エンジンがモータリング状態からアイドル状態に移行するときに、そのエンジンを上記予混合燃焼に切り替えることを特徴とするエンジン制御システム。
