【0001】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a code plate for detecting the position of a lens and a camera provided with the code plate.
[0002]
[Prior art and its problems]
In the conventional lens-integrated camera, the camera body and the lens barrel unit are generally manufactured separately, and then the lens barrel unit is assembled to the camera body. In recent years, in order to reduce costs, there are cases in which several types of lenses having different focal lengths are manufactured with a common mechanical configuration such as the appearance and mounting portion. In the lens barrel unit and the camera body having almost no difference in mechanical structure, the lens barrel unit and the camera body for other models can be assembled with each other. For this reason, there is a risk that the camera body and the lens barrel unit will be installed incorrectly, but whether the correct lens barrel unit is installed must be confirmed by removing the lens barrel unit from the camera body. I couldn't judge. Also, if the wrong lens barrel unit is assembled to the camera body, it will appear to work properly at first glance, but in reality there will be inconveniences such as inadequate exposure due to different focal lengths. End up.
[0003]
OBJECT OF THE INVENTION
An object of the present invention is to provide a camera that can automatically determine whether or not a correct lens barrel unit is assembled.

Within the zoom movement range, three zoom codes CD_A, CD_B, and CD_C are repeatedly output as relative codes. On the other hand, the LOCK code indicating the storage position, the TELE code indicating the tele position, and the WIDE code indicating the wide position are absolute codes. Note that while the first lens unit L1 is moving to the next lens position (between each zoom code), an OFF code in which no terminals are short-circuited is obtained.

The above is applied to a lens shutter type camera with an integrated lens.Reference exampleHowever, the present inventionAs shown in the following embodiment,The present invention can also be applied to a lens shutter type camera and a single-lens reflex camera with interchangeable lenses.
[0032]
Next, the present invention was applied to a lens shutter type camera with interchangeable lenses. An embodiment of the present inventionWill be described. This embodimentIs a lens code indicating lens aperture information of the zoom lens L instead of a lens model code for identifying the model of the zoom lens L(Lens aperture code)(Hereinafter referred to as “LAv code”) is formed on a code plate, and lens diameter information is input from the lens side. This embodimentInReference embodiment described aboveCircuits and members having substantially the same functions as those in FIG. In additionThis embodimentHowever, the model setting switch SWK is not provided.
[0033]
FIG. 7 shows an embodiment of the zoom code and the LAv code formed on the code plate 27a. The LAv code corresponds to the open Av value when the zoom lens L stops zooming at the wide position, and is composed of a combination of three zoom codes: CD_A code, CD_B code, and CD_C code. Therefore, in this embodiment, 27 types of LAv codes can be set.
[0034]
Table 2 shows the correspondence between LAv codes and LAv (open Av value). In Table 2, the LAv code includes three codes arranged in order from the LOCK code side, and the CD_A code, CD_B code, and CD_C code are simply represented as A, B, and C.
[Table 2]

Referring to Table 2, since the LAv code shown in FIG. 7 is composed of CD_B, CD_A, and CD_C (in order from the LOCK code side), it corresponds to code

Further, in the present embodiment, the exposure value Ev is corrected by 2/8 Ev for each zoom step of the zoom lens L. This is because the open Fno differs depending on the focal length.
[0037]
With reference to FIG. 8, a lens extension process executed when the power switch SWM is turned on will be described. In the lens steering process, the zoom lens L is extended from the storage position to the wide end, and Av data [1] to [3] are input to set the LAv value. Note that Av data [n] indicates the LAv code input when the value of the data counter is n.
[0038]
In this process, first, 0 is set in the data counter (S51), 0 is set in the code input waiting flag F (S53), and the
[0039]
Subsequently, a zoom code signal is input from the zoom encoder circuit 27 (S57), and it is checked whether an OFF code is input (S59). If an OFF code has been input, 1 is set in the code input waiting flag F, and the process returns to S57 (S59; Y, S61). When the OFF code is not input, it is checked whether the WIDE code is input (S59; N, S63). When the WIDE code is not input, it is checked whether or not 1 is set in the code input waiting flag F (S63; N, S65). If 1 is not set in the code input waiting flag F, no OFF code is input, and the process returns to S57 (S65; N).

Even if the
[0041]
When 1 is set in the code input waiting flag, that is, when the LAv code is input (S65; Y), 0 is set in the code input waiting flag F (S67), and the data counter is incremented by +1 and the data is increased. It is checked whether the counter value is 4 (S69, S71). If the value of the data counter is not 4, the input LAv code is stored as an Av data at the address indicated by the value of the data counter, and the process returns to S57 (S71; N, S73). For example, when the value of the data counter is 1, the input LAv code is stored in Av data [1]. When the process returns to S57, the processes of S57 to S73 are repeatedly executed until the WIDE code is input or the value of the data counter becomes 4.
[0042]
When the WIDE code is input (S63; Y), the
On the other hand, if the value of the data counter is not 3 (S77; N), the LAv code cannot be normally input due to some abnormality, so the lens storage process is executed (S81). In this case, in the lens storage process, the zoom lens L is stored to the storage position, and a warning display notifying that an abnormality has occurred is displayed on the
[0043]
When the process from S57 to S73 is repeated and the value of the data counter becomes 4 without inputting the WIDE code (S63; N, S71; Y), even after all LAv codes are input due to some abnormality, WIDE Since the code could not be input, lens storage processing is executed (S81). Also in this case, in the lens storage process, the zoom lens L is returned to the storage position, and a warning display notifying that an abnormality has occurred is displayed on the
[0044]
Next, an exposure calculation process executed when the photometric switch SWS is turned on will be described with reference to FIG.
In this process, first, the photometric value Bv is input from the photometric circuit 17 (S91), the film sensitivity Sv information is input from the DX code input circuit 29 (S93), and the exposure calculation is performed based on the photometric value Bv and the film sensitivity Sv. (S95). The obtained exposure value Ev is corrected based on the LAv value set in the lens extension process (S79), and the corrected exposure value is stored as Ev data (S97). In the present embodiment, a value obtained by the formula: Ev− (LAv−3) is stored as Ev data. Subsequently, the current zoom step is obtained based on the zoom code signal input from the
