Claims (5)
- ヒーターに接続されてゲート入力された波形によってヒーター電源を前記ヒーターに通電させるヒーター駆動FETと、
前記ヒーター駆動FETのドレインとソース間に流れる電流の大きさを電圧に変換して出力する電流センサー部と、
前記電流センサー部から出力した電圧を所定の基準電圧と比較する比較部と、
前記ヒーター駆動FETでスイッチングロスによる発熱が発生されうる高いデューティーサイクルを有するパルス列であるウォーミング制御信号を生成するウォーミング制御信号生成部と、
前記比較部の出力信号をゲート端子に流入させ、比較部の出力信号のレベルによって前記ウォーミング制御信号を前記ヒーター駆動FETのゲートに接続させて出力するスイッチング部と、を備え、
前記高いデューティーサイクルを有するパルス列の信号の印加に伴い、前記ヒーター駆動FETのドレインとソースとの両端間の電圧と電流のレベルが互いに反転されることによって発生するスイッチングロスにより該ヒーター駆動FET自体が発熱してヘッド基板を上昇させることを特徴とするインクジェットプリントヘッドの温度制御装置。 - 前記電流センサー部は、前記ヒーター駆動FETのソースと接地間に接続されたシャント抵抗であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のインクジェットプリントヘッドの温度制御装置。
- 前記スイッチング部は、前記ウォーミング制御信号を流入させるドレインと、前記比較部の出力信号を流入させるゲート端子と、前記ヒーター駆動FETのゲートに接続されたソース端子と、を備えた第1スイッチングFETであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のインクジェットプリントヘッドの温度制御装置。
- 前記比較部は、前記電流センサーの出力電圧が前記基準電圧より低い場合、前記第1スイッチングFETのゲートにアクティブ信号として出力信号を印加することを特徴とする請求項3に記載のインクジェットプリントヘッドの温度制御装置。
- 前記スイッチング部は、前記第1スイッチングFETとは並列に接続され、吐出しイネーブル信号を流入させるゲート端子と、プリンタのインク吐出し制御信号を流入させるドレイン端子と、吐出しイネーブル信号によって前記インク吐出し制御信号を出力するソース端子と、を備えた第2スイッチングFETをさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項4に記載のインクジェットプリントヘッドの温度制御装置。
