Description
図1は、本発明のガスセンサ素子1の一例を示した外観図である。また、図2は、図1に示すガスセンサ素子1の先端側の一部を拡大して示した断面図である。なお、本明細書では、ガスセンサ素子1の軸方向における閉じた側を先端側とし、反対側である開いた側を後端側としている。
基体として、一端が閉じられた筒状のジルコニア固体電解質体(Y2O3で安定化したZrO298%以上)を用意した。そして、この基体の外側表面のうち外側電極、リード部および端子接続部となる部分を除いてマスクを装着し、このマスクを装着した基体の外側表面を白金濃度0.05[g/l]の白金錯塩水溶液(酸を含まず)に浸漬し、さらに水素化ホウ素ナトリウム水溶液を添加し、外側表面のうちマスクが装着されていない部分、すなわち外側電極、リード部および端子接続部となる部分に白金の核を付着させた。
Claims (2)
- 酸素イオン伝導性を有する有底筒状の固体電解質体と、前記固体電解質体の外側表面に形成され被検知ガスと接触する外側電極と、前記固体電解質体の内側表面に形成され基準ガスと接触する内側電極とを備えるガスセンサ素子であって、
前記内側電極には、厚さ方向に沿って見たときに、孔径が0.4μm以上であると共に、該厚さ方向に貫通する貫通孔が、3000μm2あたり2個以上形成されていることを特徴とするガスセンサ素子。 - ガスセンサ素子と該ガスセンサ素子を取り囲む主体金具とを備えるガスセンサであって、
前記ガスセンサ素子として請求項1記載のガスセンサ素子を用いてなることを特徴とするガスセンサ。
