Claims (6)
- 複数の発光ユニットを有するディスプレイ装置において、
前記発光ユニットより少ない個数で備えられ、前記発光ユニットに駆動電源を出力する電源駆動部と;
前記駆動電源が前記発光ユニットのうちの一つに印加されるようにスイッチングする電源スイッチング部と;
前記駆動電源が複数の前記発光ユニットに順次に供給されるように前記電源スイッチング部を制御する制御部とを含み、
前記制御部は所定の基準電圧を前記電源駆動部に印加し、
前記電源駆動部は、前記発光ユニットに印加される電流に比例する出力電圧と前記基準電圧とを比較して前記駆動電源を出力し、
前記電源駆動部は複数個備えられ、
前記制御部は、それぞれの前記発光ユニットに対応する前記駆動電源を順次に出力するようにそれぞれの前記電源駆動部を制御し、
前記制御部は、各電源駆動部に対して異なる基準電圧を印加可能に構成されていることを特徴とするディスプレイ装置。 - 前記制御部は、前記電源駆動部のうちの一つで生成される前記駆動電源が前記発光ユニットのうちの一つに入力されるように前記電源スイッチング部を制御し、前記電源駆動部のうちの他の一つが、前記発光ユニットのうちの次の順位に発光する発光ユニットに印加される駆動電源を生成するように制御することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のディスプレイ装置。
- 前記電源駆動部は、前記出力電圧と前記基準電圧とを比較してPWM信号を発生するPWM発生部と、前記PWM信号によって電源供給をスイッチングするPWMスイッチング部とを含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のディスプレイ装置。
- 前記電源スイッチング部は前記複数の発光ユニットにそれぞれ備えられたスイッチング素子を含み、
前記制御部は、前記スイッチング素子が複数の前記電源駆動部から出力された前記駆動電源を選択的に断続して、前記駆動電源が前記発光ユニットに順次に供給されるように制御することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のディスプレイ装置。 - 複数の発光ユニットを有するディスプレイ装置の制御方法において、
前記複数の発光ユニットより少ない個数の複数個の電源駆動部を備える段階と;
前記発光ユニットに供給される駆動電源を生成する段階と;
複数の前記発光ユニットのうちの一つに前記駆動電源を印加する段階と;
前記駆動電源がそれぞれの前記発光ユニットに順次に供給される段階と;
それぞれの前記電源駆動部がそれぞれの前記発光ユニットに対応する前記駆動電源を順次に出力する段階とを含み、
前記駆動電源は、前記発光ユニットに印加される電流に比例する出力電圧を各電源駆動部に対して異なる値に設定可能な所定の基準電圧と比較して生成されることを特徴とするディスプレイ装置の制御方法。 - 前記電源駆動部のうちの一つから出力される前記駆動電源が前記発光ユニットのうちの一つに印加される段階と;
前記電源駆動部のうちの他の一つは、次の順位に発光する発光ユニットに印加される駆動電源を生成する段階とを含むことを特徴とする請求項5に記載のディスプレイ装置の制御方法。
