Claims (9)
- 本体(102)と、前記本体から各々が半径方向に延びる前方脚部(114)と、後方脚部(120)と、取付けフランジ(108)とを含み、前記前方脚部が前記後方脚部及び前記取付けフランジの軸方向上流に位置し、前記取付けフランジが前記後方脚部に対して軸方向に整列されている、ガスタービンエンジンのタービン支持体(100)の一部分を交換する方法であって、
前記本体、前記後方脚部、及び前記取付けフランジのうちのいずれかを通る1つの切断部を形成する段階と、
前記前方脚部と前記切断部(140)の上流に位置する前記本体の少なくとも一部分とを前記エンジンから取外す段階と、
前記切断部の下流に位置する前記タービン支持体の部分に対して交換スパッドを結合する段階と、
を含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 交換スパッドを結合する前記段階が、電子ビーム溶接を用いて前記タービン支持体(100)に対して前記交換スパッドを結合する段階を更に含むことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記本体(102)、前記後方脚部(120)、及び取付けフランジ(108)のうちの少なくとも1つを通る切断部を形成する前記段階が、前記後方脚部及び前記取付けフランジの上流において前記本体を半径方向に通る切断部を形成する段階を更に含むことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記本体(102)、前記後方脚部(120)、及び取付けフランジ(108)のうちの少なくとも1つを通る切断部を形成する前記段階が、前記後方脚部の半径方向外側において前記取付けフランジを通る切断部を形成して、前記後方脚部が前記前方脚部(114)と共に前記エンジン(10)から取外し可能になるようにする段階を更に含むことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 交換スパッドを結合する前記段階が、前記タービン支持体(100)に対して該タービン支持体の残部とは異なる材料で製作された交換スパッドを結合する段階を更に含むことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記タービン支持体(100)に対して異なる材料で製作された交換スパッドを結合する前記段階が、前記タービン支持体に対して、該タービン支持体(100)を製作するのに元々用いられている材料と比べて改善された摩耗及び強度特性を有する材料で製作された交換スパッドを結合する段階を更に含むことを特徴とする、請求項5に記載の方法。
- 前記交換スパッドを金属皮膜で被覆する段階を更に含むことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 第1の材料で製作されている前記取付けフランジ(108)に対して前記第1の材料とは異なる第2の材料で製作された交換スパッドを用いることを特徴とする請求項1乃至7のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記前方脚部(114)が劣化している場合には、前記本体(102)を半径方向に通るように前記切断部(140)を形成し、
前記本体(102)及び後方脚部(120)の一方又は両方が劣化している場合には、取付けフランジ(108)を通るように前記切断部(150)を形成する
ことを特徴とする請求項1乃至8のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
