Claims (7)
- 所定波長において検出感度を有する光検出器と、
各々前記所定波長において複数のモードの光を伝搬し得る第1光ファイバと第2光ファイバとが互いに光学的に結合され、前記所定波長において前記第1光ファイバのコア径と開口数との積より前記第2光ファイバのコア径と開口数との積が大きく、前記第2光ファイバの前記第1光ファイバと光学的に結合されていない端に前記光検出器が光学的に結合されている光ファイバカプラと
を備え、
前記光検出器は前記第1光ファイバからの伝搬光を検出する
ことを特徴とする光検出装置。 - 前記第1光ファイバのNAが0.06以下であり、前記第1光ファイバの光軸と前記第2光ファイバの光軸とが互いになす角度が6.9°以下であることを特徴とする請求項1記載の光検出装置。
- 前記第1光ファイバと前記第2光ファイバとが樹脂により接続されていることを特徴とする請求項1記載の光検出装置。
- 前記第1光ファイバと前記第2光ファイバとが溶融接続されていることを特徴とする請求項1記載の光検出装置。
- 前記第1光ファイバのコア径が15μm以上であって、前記第1光ファイバのNAが0.06以下であることを特徴とする請求項1記載の光検出装置。
- 請求項1〜5の何れか1項に記載の光検出装置と、前記所定波長の波長の光を出力する光源とを備え、
前記光検出装置に含まれる前記第1光ファイバの前記第2光ファイバと光学的に結合された位置を介し前記光検出器と対向する端に前記光源が光学的に結合されている
ことを特徴とする光源モジュール。 - 前記光源が増幅用光ファイバを光増幅媒体として含むファイバレーザ光源であり、前記増幅用光ファイバから前記第1光ファイバまでの光導波経路は空間結合部品を含まない形態で構成されていることを特徴とする請求項6記載の光源モジュール。
