Claims (4)
- 液晶ディスプレイの複数のカラーチャネルのそれぞれに対応する光源スペクトルを決定する方法であって、該方法は、
全てのカラーチャネルの最大ディスプレイ駆動レベルに対応する、前記ディスプレイの第1発光スペクトルを測定し;
全てのカラーチャネルの最小ディスプレイ駆動レベルに対応する、該ディスプレイの第2発光スペクトルを測定し;
それぞれのカラーチャネルが最大駆動レベルにあり、且つその他のカラーチャネルが最小駆動レベルにある状態で、ディスプレイの複数のカラーチャネルのそれぞれに対応する各積算発光スペクトルを測定し;
該カラーチャネルのそれぞれの最大駆動レベルで動作する該ディスプレイ内の光弁に対応する透過率スペクトルを推定し;
該第1発光スペクトル測定値と該第2発光スペクトル測定値とに基づいて、逆コントラスト比を割り出し;
該カラーチャネルの該測定された積算発光スペクトルと、該測定された逆コントラスト比と、該光弁に対応する該推定された透過率スペクトルとに基づいて、該それぞれのカラーチャネルの光源スペクトルに対応する一連の等式を形成し、ここで、該それぞれのカラーチャネルの光源スペクトル対応する該等式は、少なくとも1つの他のカラーチャネルの光源スペクトルを用い;そして
該一連の等式を解くことにより、該カラーチャネルのそれぞれに対応する光源スペクトルを決定する、
ことを含んで成る。 - 該光弁の透過率スペクトルの推定が:
特定のタイプの該ディスプレイのデフォルト・パラメータを使用すること;
該光弁に関連する位相遅延の余弦関数を二乗すること;及び
該光弁に関連する位相遅延の正弦関数を二乗すること
のうちの1つ以上を含む請求項1記載の方法。 - 液晶ディスプレイの複数のカラーチャネルのそれぞれに対応する光源スペクトルを決定する方法であって、該方法は、
それぞれのカラーチャネルが最大駆動レベルにあり、且つその他のチャネルが最小駆動レベルにある状態で、該ディスプレイの複数のカラーチャネルのそれぞれに対応する各積算発光スペクトルを測定し;
最大駆動レベルで動作する該ディスプレイ内の光弁に対応する第1透過率スペクトルを推定し;
最小駆動レベルで動作する該ディスプレイ内の光弁に対応する第2透過率スペクトルを推定し;
該推定された第1透過率スペクトルと該推定された第2透過率スペクトルとに基づいて、逆コントラスト比を計算し;
該カラーチャネルの該測定された積算発光スペクトルと、該計算された逆コントラスト比と、該推定された第1透過率スペクトルとに基づいて、該それぞれのカラーチャネルの光源スペクトルに対応する一連の等式を形成し、ここで、該それぞれのカラーチャネルの光源スペクトル対応する該等式は、少なくとも1つの他のカラーチャネルの光源スペクトルを用い;そして
該一連の等式を解くことにより、該カラーチャネルのそれぞれに対応する光源スペクトルを決定する
ことを含んで成る。 - コンピュータ読み出し可能な媒体であって、プログラミング可能なプロセッサに、請求項1から3までのいずれか一項記載の方法を実施させるための指示を含むことを特徴とする、コンピュータ読み出し可能な媒体。
