Description

本願は2003年4月9日に出願されたアメリカ合衆国出願第60/461,453号の利益を主張している。
速硬化性材料に使用される複数の成分用スプレーガンは発泡体や類似の材料を適用するのによく使用されている。そのような吹き付け用の器具は一般的にこのような材料の適用に効果的であるが、しばしば取り扱いが大変で、数多くの器具を必要とし、且つそれらを分解して洗浄するのに多大な労力が必要となる。
現在市販されている混合モジュールの少なくとも2倍の寿命があり、摩耗は2分の1しかない、新しい混合モジュールプラスチック材料が発見された。この混合モジュールは、グラファイト及びポリテトラフルオロエチレン滑剤で強化されたポリエーテルエーテルケトンで出来ており、カドラント エンジニアリング プラスチック プロダクツ(Quadrant Engineering Plastic Products)より入手でき、KETRON(TM) PEEK HPVとして知られる材料からなる。これは現在市販されているどの製品にも勝る大きな利点である。
この発明の様々な問題点や利点は、本願に添付の図面に関する以下の詳細な説明でさらに明らかになる。図面を通して同様な参照記号が同じ又は類似する部分を参照している。
この発明のスプレーガンは全体が図1において10で示されている。ガン10は、ガン本体12からなる。
混合モジュール14は互いに隔たった第1及び第2の環状室14A及び14Bをその周部のまわりに形成しており、第1及び第2の組の通路16A及び16Bが上述の環状室14A及び14Bを内部経路14Cにそれぞれ接続している。第1及び第2の組の通路16A及び16Bは、同じ軸方向位置で内部経路14Cに入り、これによって混合されていない材料が生じるリードラグ現象を排除している。混合モジュール14は、グラファイト及びポリテトラフルオロエチレン滑剤で強化されたポリエーテルエーテルケトンからなり、カドラント エンジニアリング プラスチック プロダクツ(Quadrant Engineering Plastic Products)より入手することができるKETRON(TM) PEEK HPVとして知られる材料から形成されている。パージロッド18は、混合モジュール14の中央の中心穴14Cを通って移動出来る。

Claims (1)

  1. 複数の速硬化性成分材料用のスプレーガンであって、
    第1及び第2の複数の成分材料の供給源に接続可能であり、それぞれの成分用のポートを有するガン本体と、
    ガン本体の内部に配置された混合モジュールとを有し、該混合モジュールは前記ポートと流体流通しており、成分を混合するための中央穴を有し、混合モジュールはグラファイト及びポリテトラフルオロエチレン滑剤で強化されたポリエーテルエーテルケトンからなり、
    前記中心穴を通って移動できるパージロッドを有するスプレーガン。
